I don't know if it's my *personal* favorite, but I don't think there's another sketch that captures the essence of what Robot Chicken IS better than this one. You can honestly imagine Seth Green and Matthew Senreich just sitting around, drinking beer and eating pizza, playing with old Star Wars toys, and the rough draft of this skit just organically happening... Not in a *"Hollywood writers pitching ideas to a studio"* way: But in a *"Half-drunk Star Wars geeks screwing around"* way😁 You can imagine the Genesis of this sketch being simply Seth turning to Matt and saying: "DUDE! YOU KNOW WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN TOTALLY AWESOME...?"😁😁😁 Put simply: If you had a friend who'd never seen nor even heard of Robot Chicken, showing them this sketch would explain it far better than words ever could.
ObjectiveFailed mine has got to be just the time where they are all thinking in their heads and it ends with that was pretty wizard wasn’t son. “Huh” I’m bringing it back
NOW GET YOUR 7 FOOT 2 ASMATIC ASS BACK HERE OR IM GONNA EVERYONE WHAT A WHINY BITCH YOU WERE ABOUT PADDAMAME OR PANDA BEAR OR WHATEVER THE HELL HER NAME IS
Minos Lol do you have to be an asshole? Besides in the original comment it only mentions that the original actor of Luke played Luke in the robot chicken series. Ethan mentioned mark hamill just in case for those who don’t know Luke’s actor.
I think he was echoing more than a few fans: *"Okay, so this mystical energy field created by all living things that binds the entire galaxy together is really what? A freakin' DISEASE basically?"* *"Fuck you, George"*
James Daniels I don’t think you’ve even seen the movie now lmao, midichlorians are not the fucking force, it is said very specifically that the midichlorians are the part of your body that connect to the force, meaning only that type of CELL (not a bacteria btw) is connected to the force, meaning it’s still an omnipotent, omniscient mystic power that binds the galaxy together, but there is a way to tell how talented you are with it, and there is a part of your body that connects to it, the same way the cells in your brain are the only one capable of connecting to your neural system
It is cool but I don’t think it’s that unbelievable. Hamill seems always proud of his Luke role and always does a lot in voice acting (eg voicing Luke in the Simpsons, voicing Joker in Batman, etc) plus Robot Chicken do tend to pay good money for guest voice actors sometimes (like Palpatine in this vid is voiced by Family Guy’s Quagmire, or they had Morgan Freeman’s son voice act as his father in one episode)
Let's be honest... They could have titled this: *"The One Where Vader Calls The Emperor About The Death Star (and some other crap)"* And we'd all be fine with it :D
"What do you mean, they blew up the Death Star?" That's a conversation I actually always want to hear. I can't imagine it ended well. Then again, palpatine could have looked at Vader and said, "Yes I know. I have forseen it." If I were Vader and heard that I would have given up.
The entire Palpatine conversation is just pure comedic gold. It's probably my favorite Robot Chicken Sketch.
something awesome Gary is awesome, but not as awesome as “What the hell is an aluminum falcon?”
This is all 100% canon from my perspective

"Call for Papa Palpatine."
Canon. Shut up.
- The entire Star Wars community, probably.
The beautiful thing about the one at 1:00 is luke is voiced by luke
Javier Carrizoza Mark Hamill
Mark hamill probably loved doing it
@@theresnothinghereatall Asshole.
Minos Lol do you have to be an asshole? Besides in the original comment it only mentions that the original actor of Luke played Luke in the robot chicken series. Ethan mentioned mark hamill just in case for those who don’t know Luke’s actor.
Fun fact: when Mark Hamill found out robot chicken was making a Star Wars version he called Robot Chicken to ask if he could play Luke.
i love how luke accept everything except the midichlorians
I think he was echoing more than a few fans:

James Daniels it just explains why some people have the force and some don’t

Padamamé, or Panda Bear, or whatever the hell her name is
Always gets me
i love how thats actually mark hamill voicing luke
LOL "You got an ATM on that torso lite brite?"
lmao palpatine is like your unemployed drunk uncle
This is pure gold. The Palpatine conversation was amazing.
Holy cow, is it just me or Quagmire sounds like Emperor Palpatine? :O
Same voice actor, Seth McFarland.
Noel Tobit de la Fuente an I think the robot doctor sounds like Stan Smith lol
Idiot
Yep, it's Seth McFarlane who voices the Emperor.
He also sounds like stewie
The first one ruined all of Vader’s Chokes in the movies for me lol
“What the hell is an aluminum falcon?”
Wait... Did they actually get thee Mark Hamill to do the voice for Luke Skywalker, like I know that sounds redundant but that's pretty awesome.
soulassassin0g yesvthey sid
They got him to do joker too
soulassassin0g no, they couldn’t get him, instead they hired the guy that voiced The Joker in the cartoons......
(Wink)
It is cool but I don’t think it’s that unbelievable. Yes they did, and still got Vaders lines wrong.
Padamame.
Just perfect
Let's be honest...
They could have titled this:
*"The One Where Vader Calls The Emperor About The Death Star (and some other crap)"*
And we'd all be fine with it :D
James Daniels
As far as I’m concerned, that IS the title...
Seth Mcfarlene as Palpatine is awesome
0:52 how an imperial officer saw Vaders face and survived
“Collect call from Darth Vader... ow he’s crying” 😂
I didn’t know quagmire was secretly chancellor palpatine.
some guy I guessed right, ahhaha
giggity
EMPEROR Palpatine
“I.. I love you too..” *hangs up*
"You got an ATM on that torso lite-brite of yours?!"
Oof
3:31 onwards is probably the hardest I laughed in months
"What do you mean, they blew up the Death Star?"
That's a conversation I actually always want to hear. I can't imagine it ended well.
Then again, palpatine could have looked at Vader and said, "Yes I know. I have forseen it."
If I were Vader and heard that I would have given up.
I love how animated the stop motion is!
Wow Vader can see the future and yet he did nothing to stop the fall of the empire by Ewoks.
OMG The emperor made Darth Vader cry! You jerk!
It wasn’t fully paid off, lol.
I honestly expected Vader to come in and kill someone at the end of the first one lmao
The Emperor’s voice sounds like Quagmire.
*_I LOVE YOU TOO_*
I'm dying 😂😂😂
So how'd they know that Vader was trying to choke them using the force in the first place?
Probably knew the tragedy of Anakin Skywalker the Chosen One
Panda Bear or whatever the hell her name is 😀😀😀 pure gold. Love Seth MacFarlane as Palpatine.
Mcfarland pretty much did the Quagmire voice for Palpatine, too good.
Am I just weird or does palpatine sounds exactly like quadmire 😂
Joe Nih same actor as him
EliteJayeBird 24 it is him
Quagmire as Palpatine😂😂😂
Was that the Sky 1 interceptor from Gerry Anderson's UFO that flew by at the 3:00 mark?? And did I see a BSG Viper in there too? lol
0:09 Is that really Malcolm McDowell?
I was expecting Palpitine to say giggity.
What the hell is an aluminum falcon XD
“I’m bringing it back” - Darth Vader 2019

I'm crying
palpatine is a golden one
Is that Seth McFarlane as Palpatine?
Palpatine is going out on Vader
Palputene sounds like Quaqmire
Imagine being emperor palpatine secretary
The first one is genuinely amazing
Homie said you got an atm on that torso lite brite 😭
Well, midichlorians are a physical manifestation of the Force, not the Force itself. So Luke is right.
"bye..... Ah-I love you too"
2:29 lmao
emperor phone call stays the best
So be it...Giggidy
Amazing!
Seth McFarlane is probably the most talented voice actor in history
He would kill us with his lightsaber
That’s impossible! That’s improbable? That’s very unlikely....
Excellent
Padama! Panda Bear 😂😂
All these videos are canon and I know it
Padamomay, panda bear 😂😂
