It certainly is an amazing ride and deserves those awards, however, I believe that Velocicoaster will beat it out for best steel coaster in the near future.
@@CoasterCrazy28 As someone who has ridden them both many times I can say Fury has the better stats and feels more intense but Veloci overall has the better layout and packs in more high quality elements

You only get kicked out if you are using your phone on the ride. This pov looks like it’s mounted to like a vest or something so they wouldn’t get kicked out
I concealed the camera under my jacket so they could not see that I had it. I had to start the POV after we started going up the chain-lift so that they couldn't see that I had a Go-Pro.
@@EarthySmerky The problem is Six Flags isn't really set in stone about their rules. I've had days at Six Flags where I didn't hide the Go-Pro at all and they were fine with it, yet on other days, they made me take it off. Carowinds is a bit more strict so I wasn't going to risk them telling me to take it off since I only had one chance to ride some of the Coasters there.
american parks need to spend less on their rides on more on the theming - seems fun, but you look like you're flying through a construction zone. all i can see is car parks and grass.
They do need better theming on this ride in particular but I will say the rest of the park is very well-themed. Also, you don't really care about theming when you are going 95 miles an hour.
The video doesn’t do a justice to how the ride actually feels like in real life especially in the front row. I ensure you the last thing you’ll be thinking about is theming.

I kind of like seeing earth at a good old carowinds and then going to universal for some good themes😂
