      So.....no one should ever train really heavy, push the limits, chase new PR's? With proper warmups and progressively working up to new PR's over time and knowing your limits there is no reason why training hard and heavy has to equate with injury. It is far from a given. Especially on sled pushes.

      They give really good traction on the floor so you won't slip and you can get lower and push off the ground harder.

    Sorta easier when you lean on it that way.
    What's the point of doing this, though? Any benefit?

    • @ethanchaney1139

      You get better at pushing, lmao. Watch some Olympic wrestling, they’re constantly pushing and pulling each other while standing up. Push outs also score points. So the ability to stand and push hard is important.

      clout. mostly blown lumbar discs and eventual surgery once athletes stop training every day and they lock up with arthritis...
      225 is the most weight you should ever need in a gym, just do more reps if 8-10 reps don't tire you out...

    Your feet should be flat on the ground to get your butt and hips involved without risking the achilles muscle.

  • @arystanbeck914

    Kyle is a great athlete, but technically, still gets easily beat by Sadulaev.

    • @arystanbeck914
      @arystanbeck914 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Comeback 13 what planet did you come from? Sadulaev lost by 1 or 2 points to Kyle in 2017 but then beat him within seconds at the last World Championships in 2018.

    • @arystanbeck914
      @arystanbeck914 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Comeback 13 oh, come on man. I didn't think Sadulaev would win either. He progressed so quickly and so remarkably. I guess putting a bit more weight by Sadulaev deprived Kyle of his strength advantage he had before.

    • @arystanbeck914
      @arystanbeck914 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Comeback 13 I know. I just meant that you shouldn't denigrate yourself. I, as a wrestling fan as yourself, totally understand you. Kyle is a great athlete and wrestler. These two kids, Kyle and Abdulrashid are two real prodigies who are here to dominate the wrestling world for many years to come. I am just happy that there is such a competition, makes it so much more interesting.

      Chounchy Kong Kyle wrestles in the 285 pound limit heavyweight class in college. Kyle has never weighed more than 229 pounds in competition. Your point stands though. No cross fit here.

      Not your run of the mill crossfitter.

      Um.....lots of athletes use prowlers and sleds. It is by no means particular to crossfit.
