11:09 I noticed you didn't put vermouth for your martini. Is that because it's too hard to deal with vermouth and is better without ?

depends on the order typically, if someone wants a martini very very dry, typically you’d just skip the dry vermouth in general

Hey, i recently got my first bartending job and id like to ask some advice for my first shift. What are some things i should avoid doing and what should i always seek to do. Just some general tips could be helpfull.

Learn your recipes and the menu if your place also sells food. To be good you basically wanna get to the point where you can make drinks and take orders on autopilot in a flow state without thinking too much. That just comes with memorizing the recipes and the movements you need to do to make them. So do yourself a favor and nail down all the recipes for your big sellers ahead of time so you don’t have to think about it at all during your shifts

@@Batman-ru1fm Thanks my man, thankfully the place i work at closes the kitchen at 9.00 pm and uses "bases" aka bottles where you have all of the liqour of one drink mixed, labeled and ready to be measured. But i will try to memorize them all like you said.
