So my friend was fussing that she forgot to use her blue light on her teeth in the morning when we were walking to school, and she was sayin stuff like, "my teeth aren't white because I forgot to see my blue light!" And I was like, "blue light don't work sis" and she kept fightin me that it did work and I told her that a real dentist told me so she was lyin 😂 I think the whiteness in the teeth was in her imagination.
Bentist, one time when I was seven, my baby tooth became so wiggly it was hanging by a tiny bit of gum tissue and when that tooth was on the edge of falling out the adult tooth was growing and pushing the the baby tooth you could actually see the tooth pushing the other tooth out, my kid sitter had to pull the tooth out from my mouth

I almost needed braces but after consultation at the age of 13 and seeing that my last 2 baby teeth were starting to loosen we decided to wait and then things shifted back and my over bite closed up so I didn't end up needing braces.

Even on The Swan, she gave everyone veneers and used veneers as a shortcut to straighter teeth.
The baby pacifier thing. We did that back in the late 90s early 2000s at Raves. The X and LSD would make you grind your teeth so we would have. A pacifier so we wouldn't break a tooth

I still had a baby tooth in my mouth 3 years ago. Behind that tooth was my canine tooth which was on the roof of my mouth. I had my baby tooth pulled out and then I got my braces and had a "gold chain" for a while to help my canine tooth turn right side up and pull it forward. It took a long 3 years until I finally got my braces off.

The only food that did anything to my braces was chocolate. It popped the wire out of my back bracket. It hurt so bad all Labor Day weekend, I couldn’t get an appointment. But if you are ever in the situation use tweezers to get the wire back in.
He meant that it tasted good, he didn't mean that it's good for u or good for ur braces

I always enjoy going to the dentist. Not only is he the only medical professional, but I also get regular good news from him, but he also isn't super strict on flossing and told me if I wanted to do it where to find a decent affordable water flosser so I'm not struggling with my poor fine motor skills like others have tried pressuring me to do regardless it caused me pain and i couldn't do it well anyway.
Plus, my adult teeth are pretty healthy since I had 9 removed as a child when I was given medication that destroyed my baby teeth, so they didn't have as much trouble getting into place. Thanks to a different dentist deciding it would be better in the long run, which definitely helped then be mostly straight despite a slightly too small jaw for them to fit in.
I swear this dude is making me an orthodontist like I feel like I know everything now
Edit: I just realized I had gum teeth before putting my braces 😮

5:07 I finally had my last baby tooth removed at the dentist when I was a freshman in high school. Thing is, my last baby tooth was my upper right central incisor and my adult tooth grew right behind of the baby tooth, thus I've had a shark bite pretty much my entire life.
(The upper central incisors are the two middle teeth that you show when you smile)
I didn't lose my last baby tooth until I was 15
@@courtney.22 It really makes me feel glad that I'm not the only person to experience something like this growing up. The only difference with me and the girl in the video, is that her last baby tooth didn't affect her smile. I grew up with a habit of hiding my smiles when I laugh and all, and it affected my overall confidence.

I had the opposite thing. When I was 3 I started losing my teeth. By 4 I lost every single tooth. So when I was 4 I had full adult teeth.

Yea I would push on my teeth when I was chewing gum and my two front teeth pushed out so far but now I have braces and a jaw expander and they look way better
I already had braces now I just have retainers to hold my teeth in place. I hated them but loved them too. They made me look cute but were very uncomfortable. I didn't get to pick a specific color but I liked sliver. Love your content bentist! Definitely subscribed!

Braces are sore first, so I ate soft foods only for a week.
I don’t eat crackers, or I don’t bite into anything hard, it might break a bracket!

for the TikTok with the dummy’s ( pacifier’s) you can buy a certain type which does not move your teeth. they are very expressive but it is better to spend money early on for your child then have to pay thousands of dollars in the future

I had to have my final baby tooth pulled out at 16. Got a retainer with a screw on the side to adjust it once weekly to fix the crowding in back and push my top incisors together to get rid of the gap.

Dude I hate the dentist. My dentist gave me fillings once and told me when it started to hurt. I tried to tell them it hurt and they said I WOULD BE FINE. Turns out they cut a piece of my gum off. Yay!
