As a person who got fined for these kind of mirrors and I am a son of a lawyer and made my dad to research about it. Changes in mirrors are absolutely illegal in India under section 5a of central motor vehicle act (any alterations made to mirror are a compromise in safety; a fine of 200 to 500 could be imposed on the vehicle. And the title could be an improper mirror ).And if there is no mirror then it comes under section 5 and 7. Police could be dumb for not noticing the mirror. But it is absolutely illegal
As per Section 5 & 7 of the Central Motor Vehicle Act, all vehicles should have rearview mirrors. You can modify to use handle end mirror or other Anti-glare mirrors but having it is mandatory. It's a punishable offense that could lead to a heavy fine.
As a person that rides bike for life I say that this guy that made the comment against your mirror is extremely jealous that you have such cool mirrors! 😂

They are dangerous, they are for racing in a full tuck position, they are not for upright sitting people because you can't see properly if your not tuck in a racing aggressive position, don't buy them if your a stiff upright sitting person seeking comfort, they are for spirited riding in a tuck position and may be illigal in your area.😮
