@@sleepypsori7747 obviously Sid is doing his best to stay away from dealing but at the end of the day he's still a kid and Jordan's got way more experience, money, power and motivation to stop Sid from getting away
btw is there any chance someone working at Hollyoaks could get it through to the writers that (if they haven't yet) they should watch the film "Beautiful Boy" starring Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet? it's a really powerful film about teenage drug addiction and could definitely benefit Ollie's drug addiction storyline greatly.
@@bel9729 i mean adults wont notice until its to late or until they get in a ton of trouble or build up so much debt with jordan and something happens I studyed county lines in school and more often than not adults dont work it out unless something happens like they get arrested or something like that
The kind of moronic coward that likes to make sure kids don't have or choose a life/future. I'm glad Hollyoaks is addressing this very serious, very real problem.
This SL, so far, is the one this year which has been the best, in my opinion. Taking us back to where Jordan comes from, and showing us why he feels selling drugs to kids to be the only way to avoid copying the failed life of his alcoholic father, made this more than just a bad guy without scruples taking advantage of young kids. Not equally thrilled about the idea to have Ollie involved in this. Most people who ends up as drug addicts do so not because they have personal problems or issues they need to escape from, but because they have tried drugs for excitement and thrill-seeking, often at parties or out with friends. The dependency usually comes later. Either as a result of them being genetically more easily disposed to addiction than most people, or because they as a result of personal problems or issues, pier pressure or habit develop a need for drugs at regular intervals. By introducing Ollie to drugs the way which was done, Ollie appear to having sought the drugs himself. In real life he would be more likely to be offered drugs somewhere, and there confronted with the choice of accepting and trying, or declining and remaining clean. He would have had to have been incredibly naive not to realize Sid was referring to drugs, when they talked in the school.
I absolutely loved Juilet and Sid and Jordan as a little team even though what they did was a criminal offence more than once they are class and Jules is so vey sassy and i love that about her and a lot she reminds me of someone i know ❤
Bad ass jordat least it tells story lines of how easily our kids can be roped into drugs drug dealing etc just goes to show one must always keep that little eye on what kids r up and if they come home every wile with new clothes phones etc that u just no u didbnit purchase for them.... aka then u must nip that in the bud immediately
My comment is elsewhere on the page. What follows here is just me taking advantage of the extra space, and intended for one person in particular, because spacious comments is not possible on another platform where we communicate. (continued from page) I will get back to the alternative - and non drug related - SL idea for Ollie later, but firstly focus on how Jordan could have arrived on the police`s radar fairly quickly. Say Jordan was not as alone at home as he thought when Sid and Juliet arrived, but Lucas was there - skipping a few school hours, home with a bad tummy, or something - and overheard the conversation between the three of them. Afterwards Lucas went to the police, told George Kiss what he had heard, and Kiss brought it to Cohen. But Cohen, knowing the rumors and fear of an inside traitor with the police, told George Kiss not to mention Lucas to a soul, nor to mention anything of what Lucas had told about Jordan`s conversation with Sid and Juliet to any of the colleague`s at the station. Telling Kiss that both he and she were new at Dee Valley station, and therefore only could trust each other - since there was strong suspicion of a corrupt officer at the station. Therefore they couldn`t take any chances, and expose either Lucas, Sid, Juliet, or all three of them, to potential danger. She was going to handle it from afar, claiming the source to be rumors on the street they needed to verify or dismiss. Next to happen is Sally calling in Nancy to her office. There Nancy is informed that the unrest she has expressed after her attack is being looked into, and that an undercover officer will take up the position as music and arts teacher at the school, while keeping an eye on things. So any problems or worries, Nancy should talk to him. But she being the only one, apart from Sally herself being informed about said undercover officer, she must not talk to anyone about it at all. She is only being informed cause hopefully she will now feel safer at work. At the same time George Kiss is with Cohen being introduced to Gordon and his guide dog, Nico. Nico isn`t just a guide dog, Cohen explains, but an undercover drugs sniffing dog who is trained to signal his discoveries with an unique communication he and Gordon has practiced and perfected, so Nico can mark a find without anyone around suspecting the dog was anything but a normal dog going about his daily life. George Kiss is a little curious to know how a blind person can function as an art teacher, but is being informed that Gordon isn`t really blind, nor does he pretend to be fully blind, but that his identity`s backstory is a head injury which can make his eyesight come and go again without warning. So sometimes he is pretending to be fully blind, and that is why he supposedly needs a guide dog, while most times he can see normally. After arriving in the school it doesn`t take Nico and Gordon long to identify which kids have been around drugs, and where most of the drugs are being stashed. Unfortunately Nancy has unwittingly sat on a chair where someone had snorted cocaine, so Nico has marked on her too. Now Gordon has asked for an emergency meeting with Cohen, and while Cohen is pretending to talk and pet Nico in the street, is being informed about the suspicion against Nancy. A serious situation, she realizes, cause if Nancy is part of the drug gang, the attack on her might not have been as random as she has presented it to be. But even worse, the drug gang would know about Gordon being undercover. Luckily she does not know Nico`s real identity, but believe the undercover officer has the same head injury as his identity, so even if the drug gang know about Gordon, it is unlikely they know how much information he has managed to discover already. They decide it is safe to continue, but that Nancy must be fed information sugesting they know a lot less than they actually do. Nancy, however, isn`t Gordon`s only worry, since blind arts teacher as a headline has wet Yasmine`s journalistic appetite, making her very keen to do a story about him for the paper. Out of fear he could be recognized from other undercover missions, Gordon is absolutely negative, but must be careful about how expresses that negativity. I have to stop here for now. But will try to continue from a different post later, or some other day. I will be getting to the Ollie part too, promise, but it is much more fun writing about police investigations.
Will someone stop Jordan??
