Manik Varma, Bhargavram Achrekar, and Vasantrao Deshpande represented the three styles of singing popularized on Marathi stage by the giants Balgandharva, Keshavrao Bhosle and Deenanath Mangeshkar. Bhimsenji represented the Baithak version of Balgandharva's singing.
A classic masterpiece....there is one more recording of the trio singing “Avaghachi Sansar”. Those who attended are really blessed to have seen and heard these Masters! Thank you for sharing and allowing us to enjoy such unique ‘mehfil’.
