This year's Christmas collection vids are getting loopier every week AND I AM HERE FOR IT!!!! 😂 The Duke and the Earl better treat Katie to a spa day after this season, she deserves it!!
Are you the same person who's been saying this every video? Because if so please keep doing it, it's been my favorite idea ever for her and I want her to see it.
The haunted M on the gold mica made me laugh so hard haha And yeah, my grandma went on a huge roadtrip around the western USA and brought me gold foil from a bunch of places. I had like 6 or 7 teeny orb bottles of it! (And yes, fool's gold is pyrite. :P) Also also, the top before the tears were put on reminded me so much of Beauty and the Beast! I loved it!
"If you didn't enjoy it, leave. " Best belly laugh of the morning! A reminder that coming here is voluntary! Love your wit and wisdom, Duchess of Suds.
I've literally been waiting my entire life for someone else to make a Myrrh-der joke that wasn't from learning to talk or that I set up on purpose. Thank you.
MaLisa Sousa wow ok! First off I would like to introduce you to a little thing I like to call... humor 🤷🏻♀️. TH-cam rarely times the ad perfectly where she chooses to place them. Half the time there is no ad and the other half it cuts her off mid sentence. Im fully aware that’s she chooses where to put them. I’ve watched every video from RS for probably 4 yrs now 🤷🏻♀️
I just recently found this channel and it is so fun yet relaxing. Not just the soap making is relaxing, but it's your bubbly personality and the way you communicate your process. It's not Bob Ross's smoothing nature, but it's like listening to a friend who is passionate and love what she does. Feels welcoming.
Kate: Welcome back to another one of the most watched videos on this channel. What she really is saying: I’m recreating content but it’s ok because I actually change it up every year. Me: Seems legit!
I watch your videos with my almost 3 year old every upload. When he saw this soap, he said "Momma, my soap! It pretty! Mine? Mine!" So... I guess we know what he is getting for Christmas!
Im loving the new shop, new set up, new Mic, new camera angles. You two are really doing it! I'm not a soap maker but I am so in love with the channel. It's so neat to be able to see how you're the products were made and then you get to order them. I think you're concept and the way you do business is awesome. Sending love and positive vibes from this Texas girl in Fort Worth
Katie, thank you so much for showing your clean, makeup free face in videos! I have acne troubles and get embarrassed about my skin sometimes, but seeing your happy, healthy, beautiful confidence boosts mine 🥰
This is the batch that prompted me to purchase your soap for the first time. It is my favorite soap, hands down. The scent is calming and comforting. As long as you continue to make it, I will continue to buy it. Worth the money!
I ordered one bar of this out of curiosity with respect to the fragrance. I sliced one end of the package to smell it and I just decided to keep it on the end table where I have morning coffee. It smells so wonderful and just as an aroma therapy item, it is awesome. About a week after receiving it and just enjoying the scent, I sliced one-third of the bar off to try in the shower. I really like how this soap feels and smells. My favorite new thing is just walking into my bathroom and being engulfed in the scent. I do not even want to use the rest of the bar just so I can smell it every day. I'm also addicted to your videos. I do a different kind of craft at home but play your videos while I work. Keep doing what you are doing. Query: do you ever make goat milk soap?
That blue is to die for! My favourite colour is cobalt blue! And I can only wear gold jewelry or I break out so the combination hits home for me. Gotta get me somma that there beautiful soap! Thank you Katie!
This was the first bar of soap I bought from this company, and the smell is DIVINE!! It's a good scent for men and women. It's not a cheap scent, either. The scent remains on your skin and doesn't turn stinky with age. I'm in love. ❤
The blue and gold together are so gorgeous. I usually add a little bit of sweet orange essential oil to my Frankincense and Myrrh. It helps mellow it out just a little bit.
One of your previous Frankincense and Myrrh soap videos was the first one I ever watched. This is a classic! RIP Vines, but at least at got me to your page!
Ooh, this one looks so nice! Excited for the Christmas collection!! Also! Katie! I have a little necklace and bottle that have gold pieces in them that I panned when I was in Alaska as a kid. Big fun, absolutely recommend!
I got my little gold flakes in bottle of water when I was a kid. My parents took me to Knott's Berry Farm in California and I panned for the Gold myself! "It was my finest hour" my ten year old self thought! LOL I love the amount of "tears" you put on this year! YAS!!
We had to clean out our basement for them to fix the pipes. I found my box of fools gold in amongst other rocks I had collected. My kids just watched Rudolph and my daughter yells silver and gold when I pulled it out of the box! It was awesome! ♡ Love the blue in this soap!!
Just ordered a bar of this for my husband for Christmas because he LOVES frankincense and myrrh. And I just love your videos and the whole Royalty Soaps crew. You guys are fantastic 😍😍
I absolutely LUV this soap!! Great job K!💜💜 Also, to answer “The Question of The Day” I did have ‘fools gold’ & also had a necklace with the “gold pieces” in it with the water😊 Takes me back to the good days as a kid thinking of that. I live in Arizona, so there is a place called Rawhide here & we went there a lot when I was a kid, especially when family flew down from Chicago. Lol You could buy the fools gold or you can pan it out yourself. Rawhide was a cool lil place. ☺️ Anywhooooot, love all of you & all your creations. Keep up the great work! 🖤
I laughed so hard at the M and I don’t know why! Also, i make the smacky and muttering noises as I work too. I love it. I love y’all. Can’t wait for the December release.
I still have an old bottle like that from when I was a kid. Though I can't remember if I got it in Arizona where I was born, or if it was from a trip to New Mexico when I was visiting families. I think the bottles of gold used to be (maybe still are) a standard thing found in most gift shops around the US.
I love that blue so much! If you want to avoid drag marks in the soap just turn the soap 180 degrees, so the top was facing you, the wire would instead travel towards to outer edge of the soap, which would mean if any drag marks were made they would be pulled towards to outside and not pulled towards the middle like they are currently. The reason drag marks are made in the soap currently is that the wires closest the hinge and pulled into the soap as the wires are pressed down to cut the soap. A good way to test this would be to mark the wires at the point it enters the soap then see how far in that mark travels as you cut the soap. Since the wire at the hinge travels into the soap, it drags anything with it in towards the centre of the soap.
I just used this for the first time and oh....my.....god. It's my favorite. You ever find something and it's a limited edition kinda deal and you don't want to use it because you don't want to be out of it....this is that for me. Lord of Misrule from Lush and this soap from Royalty soaps. I can't get enough.
They use to have real panning for gold at Knott's Berry Farm. Every one that panned got a small bottle of real gold. probably back in the 60's and 70's.
Unironically, frankincense and myrrh are some of my favorite smells. Being a person where traditionally masculine scents work better for them (based on at least my Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab perfumes!), this is just a delight. I hope I can get one of these one day!
That video was the first one of yours I ever saw. The TH-cam algorithm recommended it back then, and I watched because I liked the colors in the thumbnail, and I've been hooked on your videos ever since. I'm so glad fate led me here, your videos are the highlight of my week!
Oooh yes! Gold in a bottle. My 8 1/2 yr old is OBSESSED with gems, minerals etc and has gold in a bottle and pyrite ;) we're in Australia too so definitely a common childhood thing.
I do have a bottle of gold. I had gotten it at "Wall Drug" on I90. I can't remember if it's in Montana or South Dakota. But, it is a real interesting place. I90 GOES STRAIGHT ACROSS the US east to west. I'm originally from Around Chicago and live in Spokane, WA. When we go back home, we just jump on I90 east. Lots of attractions to see on that route: Mount Rushmore, Where Laura Ingalls lived, The Corn Palace, just alot of sites to see.
I grew up in Paradise California ( burned down in the camp fire in 2018) and it was famous for it's history in gold mining. We had a good nugget museum, and an annual gold nugget days fair and parade. They had troughs to pan for gold where you could buy a little bag of sediment and collect your own gold. Neat place, too bad it's gone now.
Growing in California, many of us took field trips or vacation trips to the gold mining touristy towns and brought back bottles of gold as souvenirs. Great memories! :)
Beautiful job as always! I don't know if it was just me, but the I in the top corner for your question didn't appear for me, This Texas gal did have gold in a bottle, and a piece of pyrite. Your nails are on fleek, and love the way your shirt and the gingerbread men on your apron matched in the cutting portion of the video.
In reference to the question of the day, there's a place in Colorado that has rocks in the mountains that are full of Fools Gold. It was a popular attraction for kids when I was little. You can go panning for gold up in the creeks there, but us kids thought we outsmarted the adults. The gold was right there in the rocks! 😁
Gold foil suspended in liquid in tiny bottles - also popular in California (can we say GOLD RUSH souvenirs?). Usually, it's gold leaf because it'll float pretty.
I actually currently own a little wire tree with "leaves" made out of fool's gold chunks. It's about 2 inches tall and so stinking cute! I live near some mountains so we took a field trip to mine for gold when I was in school which is where I bought my little fool's gold bottle. I also remember buying a lollipop there with a bug inside (which I just kept for the aesthetics lol)
I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Every summer we have an exhibition in the city, K Days. This name derived from the original name which was Klondike days. People used to dress up in old time clothing the.most popular of which was large feathered hats and celebrate the gold rush. Consequently there was a river built on the fair grounds that pe ople could plan for gold in. We all have a little baggy with tiny gold chips in it here. Just a side note although our fair no longer represents the gold rush, you can still pan for gold at the exhibition every year.
Of course I had both! We had a bottle of water with real gold in it from Alaska, and we collected fools gold at a Wild West town amusement park near our house, in Union IL
Katie girl, I just love you! You're so much fun😜😝😁LOL at funny moments in this video (with ear buds in) & family is like🙄shheez, it must be soaps by Royalty!! 😆 lol
I had a teeny tiny bottle of dried out gold ink from my mother! It has a cork in the top and a very intricate and artisinal paper label. It was dried into a very beautifully twisted shape that looked like a dried leaf, it looked like the felix felicis potion from harry potter!!! That was my pyrite in a bottle✨
I’m so happy you brought up the rock tables!!! My boyfriend and I were in a store that had one a few weeks ago, and he thought it was the craziest thing. I always loved getting some fancy rocks for my rock collection 😂
I had both golds! I was a fan of rocks as a kid so my parents let me buy quartz, pyrite, citrine, obsidian, tiger's eye, ect. But then in 6th grade we took a class trip to Sacramento and they took us panning for gold. So I got some real gold that way. I still have all of it in my sewing room.
I had a big chunk of "iron pyrite" when I was a kid. I remember bringing it for show and tell when I was in 4th grade in Oregon! It was the size of my dads HAND!
This year's Christmas collection vids are getting loopier every week AND I AM HERE FOR IT!!!! 😂 The Duke and the Earl better treat Katie to a spa day after this season, she deserves it!!
I would love to see what a typical work day looks like for you and Kenny.
Jaime LovesLife OMG YES!!!
Can you do a month of "unexpected" soap? April fools month perhaps?
For example, a pink bubblegum looking soap that smells like pine trees
Are you the same person who's been saying this every video? Because if so please keep doing it, it's been my favorite idea ever for her and I want her to see it.
@@jmhh3264 I am indeed! That's the plan!
You should design one and mail it to her. You'll know she sees it for sure that way 👍 awesome idea!

Frankincense and Myrrh.......MYRRH-DER!!!!
**le gasp** jUdAs nO

Frankenstein and myrrder! 🧟♀️ 🧛🏻♀️
My all-time favorite vine!

It was just like...

That fragrance oil labeled by Kenny is the most me thing I think I've ever seen. Almost as beautiful as the soap.
The first three kings soap vid was the first I ever watched of yours. I've been hooked ever since!
ME TOO!
Same!!
So I'm gonna guess (due to your last sentence that You told your mother, your brother your sister and your friends. 😂
Same and I bought one for the first time today!!
I don't know which one of you packed my order, but the little smiley face on the box because I was order 40k made my day yesterday.
That blue is gorgeous! You should do another soap with that blue!
I absolutely LOVE this soap. Knowing that you know the *gasp* Judas vine just makes it so much better!
"If you didn't enjoy it, leave. "
Best belly laugh of the morning! A reminder that coming here is voluntary! Love your wit and wisdom, Duchess of Suds.
Fools gold is pyrite!! I collected gems as a kid and now I’m a gemologist 😂
That is so amazing when people find what they love then turn it into their work!!!
Ah yes, iron pyrite ^_^
That blue color matches Coraline’s hair perfectly!
Ooo a Coraline soap would be a neat Halloween project for next year. Big dark button embeds could be pretty easy to make I imagine...
And mine! 😍
I've literally been waiting my entire life for someone else to make a Myrrh-der joke that wasn't from learning to talk or that I set up on purpose. Thank you.

*commercial actually starts*
Me: Wow... good job TH-cam. 👏🏼 👏🏼 👏🏼 You get a gold star ⭐️
