I'd put them like this 4- Gingerbread Joyride 3- Megamix Mania 2- Drive thru Danger 1- Slide Colisseum 1&2 might swap depending on the player's experience on the tracks
Just choose Drift and Slide Coliseum is a breeze. William P. loses a lot of time by skipping a cut (you can cut the grass after the first jumpcut over the wheels), but its way harder so I dont recommend it but still he takes that kinda wide and doesnt U turn after the 2nd jumpcut) and not taking some corners optimally as well. So personally I think everyone overrating Slide Coliseum cuz they probably play it with Speed and its William P.
Hamza - Your comment reminded me of someone saying the top 5 hardest Oxide ghosts and the answers were all Dragon Mines 😂😂 So imo, the hardest ghost for each one: Oxide for Dragon Mines, Velo for Out of Time and Dev for Turbo Track. Slide Coliseum isn’t that difficult if you use drift cuz it gives more reserves when boosting and I agree with Gianni, it shouldn’t be number 1...

I can't believe I beat Oxide on all these tracks yesterday alone! Crash Cove Roo's Tubes Turbo Track Slide Coliseum Coco Park Dingo Canyon Papu's Pyramid Blizzard Bluff Polar Pass N Gin Labs Hot Air Skyway Oxide Station Android Alley Dragon Mines is the hardest track, it is actual hell and makes Oxide Station look like a merely fun challenge. Jeez. Mystery Caves and Sewer Speedway are also surprisingly tough too. Btw I agree, I also improved after switching camera angle, it helps a lot to have a clearer view around you from a higher perspective. It's n.sane how much I feel like I've improved in just a few days. This game feels so rewarding once you improve in skill!
Man you're really finding your groove now Lewis! That U-Turn really saves some time! I was forced to try and learn it for Turbo Track, Thunderstruck, Hot Air Skyway, and Drive Thru Danger. Only have Drive Thru Danger left and it feels the hardest! Love the challenge though! You should try and beat the last 4 tomorrow.

These gives me so much motivation to complete my time trials. Had the game corrupt on me twice in November when starting Crash Cove Oxide TWICE. Been working through all them now beating up to Velo on all tracks. Happy to be back doing some cleaaaan drifting.

@@KaiWoodX2 ah, that ones tough. The trick is that you should always take the spiral and always U Turn around it. The shortcut is quite difficult and your better off taking the normal route. Constantly perfect boosting is also a necessity to keep the flame for as long as possible. If you don't keep your flame at the spiral, that's ok because neither does Oxide. Im not trying to self promo, but I've made a playlist of helpful CTR videos by other TH-camrs that I suggest you watch because it helped me with the Oxide trials

Awesome vid mate been watching this series of developer times and it’s awesome pal I struggle with keeping blue flame up on this track it seems to just disappear on me as I come out of the haunted house, I also seem to lose it on a few others like oxide station even though I should have plenty in reserve any tips on how to keep this up (currently taking on Velo times)
I had a bit of trouble with Prehistoric Playground mostly because of the slightly mistimed jumps that the arc is either too short that I don’t make the landing or doesn’t register that it caused be a couple dozen resets. The rest of these were decent.
Lewis, mate. You gotta work on not panic-boosting. When you were in the tunnel turn for Koala Carnival, you kept doing to quick Good boosts before needing to jump and realign your trajectory. If you hold it longer, you won’t turn in as quickly. Plus as the games tells us, the longer you fill the bar, the better your reserves are saturated.

Since the original Crash Team Racing for ps1 i never liked the default camera angle they give you, I have always changed to the 2nd camera the one where you can see your character smaller I feel the first angle the character covers the screen even when I see someone here on youtube using the first angle I feel like I want to change it haha

Took your advice and tried the other camera angle and I love it. Gives you more of an aerial view and is much better for hugging walls.
