Captin marvel movie seems to last ok if you allow yourself to get 1 cold snap :) (she dose pretty consistent armor breaks)

Seatin, you should try using Medusa! Lagacy one-shots Silver Surfer using her, as she works really well with bleed and armor shatter. All you need to do is throw a sp1 at the start of the fight to get armor shatter on him, then just do sp3 after sp3, whilst baiting his specials. :)
me bringing in rank 4s in the showdown then seeing the 1.3mil health "leaves right away"
Not so much the health. Its the nodes and his dmg that make it stupid.

What’s the point of “including everyone” when only people with fully fleshed out rosters can play the easy difficulty?

Try spamming about 15 or so sp 1 with colossus until you reach his max stacks then assuming you survive that long go for an sp 2. Just a suggestion

I was able to complete Show Up with 2 40% revives on my Colossus and used a team of Omega Red, Nick Fury, Juggs, and Blue Team Cyclops. I was able to get 60% off after about the 10th time of quitting and reentering. All of my synergies were geared to boosting the damage of Colossus' L2. I had lots of trouble with getting corned because of constantly trying to bait the L1 and ended up getting L2'd to death. I can't even begin to imagine how long it would take with only Colossus in Showdown.
these are the options that worked for me the best against this tinhead...
dr doom with synergies
colosus with synergy/ sp1 stune lock
medusa with karnak and blackbolt synergy (one heavy and your good nick furys evade synergy really helps against it)
human torch
or any champ who's immune to coldsnap

Ranked up my sabretooth just cause of coldsnap he did very well against silver surfer i also used collousus with omega synergy

Seemed almost impossible to complete itemless on my first try but after some practice it wasn’t too bad with the right team. Just took a very long time.
Cap IW works with a science/cosmic champ. Can take more damage on blocks and just spam the SP1. Cap places a armor break with a well timed parry

Best I was able to used was my 4* medusa, but it was still tough. Had to have it down to a science in the hard difficulty
Vision Aarkus no sp2 only sp3, go for as many armor breaks as possible and the frostbite, use despair mastery and power gain to reach sp3 and reverse regen. You can get an almost full heal reversal by adding parry and weakness. You also don't want to hit silver surfer at all to not get frostbites.
Despair 3 points
11 debuffs--> 65% reversal = 13000 dps
12 debuffs--> 80% reversal = 16000 dps
13 debuffs--> 95% reversal = 19000 dps
Keep in mind this damage is ON TOP of the 7 debuff reversal, so this is ADDITIONAL damage not total damage
Essentially the fight could be finished in around 5 sp3s
According to my math, he will gain around 10 percent of a bar per sec at 5 power gain buffs so it shouldn't take forever.
Man the MVP is definitely symbiote spidey. He cant bexome coldsnapped because of his armour break
Emma Frost? Keep her in Diamond form by popping off her SP1 whenever she reaches it. She is immune to everything. Also if she's maxed out, her power sting will also hurt him over time as he keeps popping off SP's. Haven't tried it myself, but I am a massive scrub.
Imagine being me and bringing my rank 3 heros thinking would win.
Seeing you get hit by the SP2 makes me feel better about it.

I completed the show up. I also ran out the 10 minute timer on showdown difficulty. Silver Surfer only had 133,324 health left 😂. My health was practically full. Needed like a minute extra 😭
Venoms heavy then om nom his buff till u get power gain and the bait sp then hit with L3 rinse and repeat... venoms haeavy gives an armor break and his L1 heals and takes buffs which give u power gain and his L3 increase due to ur buffs and the armor break
That rich gets richer node wasn’t actually a node it was the goal of the fight.
Spider-Man Symbiote has w wicked long armor brake which will prevent cold-snap

Cap iw with cosmic synergy is good just parry -heavy -sp2 and survive for as long as possible. Even the herald bosses are way easier.
I two shot him with Ghost. Brought along the full trinity and Hood. Not too bad. Had to change my playstyle to ensure he never dropped an s1 though.
This is so unfair the point of the show up difficulty is insane
i haven't defeated him yet but yeah, beardo seems to be the most viable and sustainable for me. you just need to have great concentration.
but for 3k 5* shards, (15k total for completion of all chapters) and if i suddenly find it too exhausting for me, i'd rather explore the master event quest, or find some other content to spend my time on. this is just ridiculous, and i thought herald difficulty is already bonkers. i thought using revs isn't worth it. i'd use revs on bosh rush or herald. but here, just nah.
i have a 5* maxed out Colossus and the fact that i cant use him pisses me so much

You’re better off doing the doom herald boss than this bs.. getting only 15k shards for this cesspit of content is just stupid... too hard for the players who need and pretty much useless for the players that dont

Yoshi 1234 it always been like this, only after two years playing you can “enjoy” this things, heralds for me is easy and I can get some great rewards but this is just ridiculous, I don’t have any intentions of participate. It think I can beat him with 10 revives for human torch, but for 3000 shards? There’s no way

But at least this event is painful with rewards while the summoner showdown is just painful.

This is an objectively bad fight design and they did that a lot this month unfortunately.

It would cost regular players who don't play the game as a full time job and don't have every champion in the game in every rarity more resources than that.
Also, keep in mind all of this is rewarded with just 3k five star shards. Totally laughable in my opinion.

This is a joke. Heralds activity is also horrible. All of the bosses have only had a couple counters....it’s ridiculously specific, and normal players have a horrible time with it
Almost like it was advertised as the Cavalier difficulty, not everyone is meant to be able to do it.

Medusa! She will take a only a tiny bit of damage from the first hit (cold snap) but after, she starts hitting hard!👌🏾

Sorcerer supreme should be good. She nullifies everything, applies an armor break to turn off that coldsnap. You can start with 1 bar of power bringing Storm X with her to throw that sp1 and get an armor break

Colossus Emma frost and omega are enough you can other more mutant agenda and go full mutant team he is beast mode for this does 20k damage on his sp2 Colossus but this event is garbage imo not worth the hassle
this has got to be their biggest joke yet. 4* champs when no one but players just starting out are still ranking 4*.
Everyone should have a decent amount of 4* from the time not many had 5*. Now you need to use your skill ;)

I agreed. I played the game since launch but took a 2 years break a while back. I got back to playing about 6 months ago. I have like 4 rank 5 four stars from before the break I took. But when I got back, they’re all obsolete. So, I just focused on 5 and 6 stars even though I have tons of unranked 4 stars. Now, I’m not going to waste my resources on 4 stars just for this event.
Kabam literally loaded us up with resources to rank four stars easy as well, everyone should have a decent amount of ranked four stars. Not that bad.

Colossus with omega red, jugs and wolverine synergy worked better for me. Colossus ramps up quick. I was hitting 45k SP2's

Here's a tip for you guys:
To beat it, use Doom with the Mr. Fantastic and Doctor Strange synergy so you can both armor break silver surfer, and purify any coldsnaps on you (when activating the Aura of Hazzarath)!
