I don't really have a lot to include in a video at this time about my agency just because it's pretty straight forward. I can tell you now I like them a lot, of course I don't have anything to compare them to since they were my first choice. The commission starting out is 80/20, they do offer training videos, live training calls, and mentor that you can reach out too. However, the mentor hasn't been that helpful for me personally. They also have a website you can utilize but I don't use any of the software my agency has available just by personal preference.
@@misscarter4u Hi, what I meant by that is I do not use their CRM in regards to what you use a CRM for. In order to get paid when I book a client I go in and enter the basic information required for getting paid; clients name, booking number, date of travel, projected commission, etc. Now when it comes to email my clients, tracking payments, making payments on their behalf, tracking client birthdays, events, contact information etc. I don't use the CRM from my host agency. CRM is used to manage the relationship between you and your client. I use my host CRM to receive my commission only. Hope that makes sense. :)

Hello, you can either put down a deposit as you mentioned or you can a type of group known as a group ease or for example a group that is not under contract. You structure the sales page to inform interested individuals that pricing is subject to change. So you advertise as pricing starting at… Perhaps I will make a video in the future of how I structured my own group trip without a contract

Yes and no, yes sometimes there are discounts giving to travel agents however that is not the reason anyone should use a travel agent. Travel agents are utilized by people who are not comfortable or familiar with planning a complete vacation, or people who are comfortable but want someone else to handle the research of planning a vacation. Travel agents have knowledge that the general public does not when it comes to selecting the best hotel or experiences to match what the client is looking for. When deciding to use a travel agent you are reducing the risk of planning a vacation you don’t enjoy!
Ask me at the end of 2023 lol! Starting a business is a risk no matter the industry, but I’m a believer that if you put in the work and don’t quit you will be successful!

My personal experience is that it takes time to build the income if you are under a host, because you are basically building a business from the ground up. If you are a full time traveler you would definitely make commission or have discounted rates when you travel. There is this misconception that travel agents travel for free and that can be true but not likely in the beginning.

I now only sell hosted group trips and yes the clients still must go and book their flights if we are flying to the Caribbean.
