Thanks for your informative, fun videos! In 2018, twelve of us from the USA came to Sicily to visit our ancestral town of San Pier Niceto for 2 days. We stayed outside town and drove in each day to check things out. The people were delightful! We were commemorating the Catanese family ( 8) members who came to America in 1916 and all died but my husbands father, his brother & 1 uncle survived the swine flu epidemic in 1918. His father was brought back to Sicily by the uncle with the brother. Dad stayed until he was 18 the returned to the USA.
We went to mass at the church the grandparents were married in & they said the mass for the deceased family members 100 years to the day they had died. It would be thrilling to see you visit there! Grazie!

My father is fromCastellammare Del Golfo and my mother is from Mazara Del Vallo. I would be grateful if you went to those cities. I was there 10 years ago and still have lots of family there. Thank you for your fine videos.

WOW, those amazing beautiful green olives, the rows of trees, the vines so green, Sculptures in the amazing chapel and all those historical sites with Greek temples and ruins. I am just amazed at all this right there in part of Sicily. So much to see and experience. Oh those gigantic onions make me hungry for one! Everything there is simply marvelous. Thank you so much for bringing this to us at home and allowing us to experience the wonders of Sicily.

Glad to see you visited my town :) Compared to other cities in Sicily we are not that good in promoting our historical sites, but luckly for us, sometimes someone finds them anyway :)

It is my maternal grandmother’s home, I loved her stories of where she lived as a child. I visited there very briefly in 2018. I could only spend a few hours, I would love to know more about it.

Another great informative video. It's good to see towns we would never get to see and that Sistine Chapel of Sicily was spectacular. It's great you went to Asaro as I cooked my Sunday sauce using their Olive Oil today, great work!
