ive watched jackson reagen many times for the sounders, he is a rock defense and had 3 or 4 goals this year too. and he can play a pass. good depth peice for the national team
All teams should absolutely have a pulse on who their B, C, and D teams are. Also we need a look at depth for positions like GK and a chance for young MLSers to earn their shot.
Here: MD(6) 1. D. Luna (RSL) 2. J. Mcglynn (Philadelphia Union) 3. D. Edelman (RBNY) 4. B. Cremaschi (Inter Miami) 5. D. Mihailovic (Colorado Rapids) 6. P. Soma (Barcelona B)
For strikers: Nick Markanich - Scored about 30 goals in USL this year. Genuine late bloomer. Only problem is that he's joining a La Liga 2 club next month, so don't know whether he can come. Ryo Germain - J-League offseason, too. 19 goals this year.
Do a video with Tab Ramos asking him about why he like Mihailovic. It might be interesting. My take for the record is that when you thought MIhailovic had heavy touches in the Olympics was two occasions where he played the ball away from his body when receiving it to evade a defender and set up the next pass. The defenders were closing fast. It also looked like Tessman was spraying balls out wide to the wings who would then go on solo dribbling runs. Hence, why Mihailovic wasn't super involved in the games. I know for a fact that Eric Wynalda would have MIhailovic as the first midfielder on his team, and I know Ray Hudson and Maurice Edu like Djordje.
Nicholas Markanich 24 yrs old USL Charleston Battery 30 GOALS ,6 assist in 36 games ………❤ why not ? 😊😊😊😊😊 call our reserves maybe analyze his game and how USL competition compares to mls and make or break a case for the guy . I say give him a shot for USMNT
I feel like Poch could use this window to recruit dual-nats from reserve teams in Europe if he actually cared. Guys like: Noahkai Banks (CB), Leo Duru (RB), Zane Okoro (Winger), Kaan Inanoglu (CF), and Tyler Meiser (CB/CDM). Some of them would needto file one time switches but if Poch was smart get could really entice them.
Having the U20 camp at the same time makes it difficult. Do we prefer to have the top youth prospects at camp cupcake or at the U20 camp preparing for the U20 WC?
I think Bryan Gutierrez is a better option than Cowell, unfortunately he has stagnated at that terrible Chicago fire team another good option could be Chris Brady instead of Zack Stephen
I'd like to see Keyrol Figueroa, Nimfasha Berchimas, and Damion Downs get called in. Keyrol is barely playing for Liverpool U-21, so there's a good chance he'll get released. Damion is a bit more complicated because FC Koln is in 2nd place in Bundesliga 2 currently.
I would like to see Bryan Reynolds and Nicholas Gioacchini get another shot, to see if you could get Caleb Wiley's club to let him come and to give Damion Downs his 1st shot.
Rokas Putkas is my number one, I’d like to see in camp. Jackson Regan and Jesus Ferrira. Damion Downs would be interesting at striker but would also have Alex Harris from Cornell University-mainly because of other options don’t inspire. Peyton Miller. And I debate taking a flyer on Konrad mainly because lack of options at winger. But Diego Luna goes without saying and Brian G too
I don't think Venezuela 🇻🇪 brings Jose Rondon, Jose Martinez, Jhon Murillo, Rafael Romo, or any of their top guns. Their young talent is interesting, especially 19-year old forward Kervin Andrade. Calling up Yerferson Soteldo, Telasco Segovia, and Bryant Ortega to play in the midfield would be a good idea. Fernando Batista has to get Wuilker Faríñez some game-time with the national team, so it wouldn't surprise me to see him start in goal for Venezuela for this friendly.
I would say for goalkeeper bring turner, kochen and schulte . For full backs Robinson tolkin, reynolds and scally. For center back probably vickers, Richard’s, Zimmerman and McKenzie. For midfield I would bring Luna, Mckennie , Tillman, Adams and Reyna along with Aaronson and paredes. For attack weah, pulisic, balogun, Ferreira, pepi.
You do understand that 95% of the players you mentioned are European based and cannot be called into this camp because it doesn't fall on a designated FIFA international window, right?
Because I am a Phili fan I want to see my boys Jack, Quinn and Nate. But I definitely want to see Matt Freese. I would even rather see John McCarthy from LA than see Zac Steffan.

I think everyone wants to see Diego Luna (finally) in a US shirt... or at least I do.
We need to only bring u20 players and some of our mls A squad defenders since we don’t have much depth
All teams should absolutely have a pulse on who their B, C, and D teams are. Also we need a look at depth for positions like GK and a chance for young MLSers to earn their shot.
your midfield list is wrong, you put up the center backs again.

24 is still no soo old, look Vardy, Luca Toni, etc...
Those players don't fit the MLS/US Soccer narrative.

Great vid as usual! Jackson Ragen is pronounced like president Reagan.
Pretty sure the TSS Gus nailed it when they said the name needs to change under Poch to Camp Lemon Cake.

At camp cupcake for sure.
Jake Davis had a great season at RB for Kansas City. 3 G 5 A and much more technical than Harriel.
I think Bryan Gutierrez is a better option than Cowell, unfortunately he has stagnated at that terrible Chicago fire team another good option could be Chris Brady instead of Zack Stephen
I think Brian Gutierrez should definitely get a shout he's been solid for Chigao desite their entire team being ass.

Keyrol Figueroa
Pedro Soma
Cole Campbell
Nimfasha Berchimas

Adam James Beaudry, goalkeeper, Zack Steffen's teammate and competition

Cerrillo from galaxy?
When does the actual roster come out?
Let’s get all the young players on the field
I just have a question. Where, when and how did the term cupcake camp originate?
No idea to be honest.
Real international window= full cake
Friendly/ not a real international window = small cake/ cupcake
?
Who knows.
lol
Baker whiting? As a sounders fan I feel obligated to throw him in there. Also not stoked on using TAM/DP for the Dallas duo
Miller is not ready, that said, at 16 he is already as good as Dejaun Jones

John Tolkin rumored transfer to Nottingham Forest will take him out of January camp.
Overrated
Anderlecht is also linked to him and that is more likely his level.
Behalter Whitecaps, Trusty to give him more minute, what happened to Jonathan Gomez? Campbell every wants to see him
Could Acosta (Argentina) make it?
He has to wait until summer of 2025
Tactical Manager getting risky with the comparisons lol
Tac is always risqué he shows leg a lot and he’s Brazilian they know for that
He said he’s kinky 😂😂
Let's go🎉🎉🎉🎉
Will this be the last camp cupcake if MLS changes its schedule?
The January camp/games are written into the USMNT Tv deal. Until the current deal expires there will be a camp and games.
Have you watched enough MLS to accurately put this list together?
Who’s missing and why?
It’s also a roster prediction of what Poch might do, not my list.
