    Question I got a exhaust for my 21 road glide, I don’t need to a tuner right. And I was told when u air cleaner and a exhaust then you have to?? Also is there a tuner for the 21 screaming eagle

    • @MoonshineHarley
      @MoonshineHarley  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes there are tuners for all the 2021's, some shop can do it and other will tell you no. We tune all bike we install a full exhaust system on. you can get away with the factory tune if you keep the stock head pipe and add slip ons. We would recommend the most restricted baffle on stock engines.

    Question: I want to trade my bike for a Heritage and have it built. Do you guys see any noticeable difference in performance from the 107 bottom end to the 114 bottom end? I understand the stroke is different. But how would that relate to everyday riding?

    • @MoonshineHarley
      @MoonshineHarley  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      1 - 1.2 HP and TQ per cubic inch gained. The 124 setup on the short 4.375” stroke is a great setup.

    When you take weight from the bottom of the fork and put most of the weight on the top, clamped in the triple trees you are reducing the unsprung weight. I believe that the more you take away unsprung weight the better the handling.

  • @AO-ip6yx
    @AO-ip6yx 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    That pipe weighs about as much as a small passenger and it also scrapes the ground at the header, scary! The best part about it is that you get all this at a price of about 2,000$

  • @TeensierPython
    @TeensierPython 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Your spring vs unsprung is incorrect. You want both lighter (obviously) but it’s always better, if you can chose where to put the weight, to make it sprung weight.
    You want weight in the chassis (sprung) vs in the wheel (unsprung). Get the inertia off the moving portion trying to stay in contact with the road.

      That build is probably kissing the ass end of 30k. I got a rough estimate to do a slightly laid back version, meaning 124 w/heads, radials, Krause wolf one with erg bars, all the supporting parts in the primary an their transmission service an it was at the ass end of 21k.

    • @jaym4052
      @jaym4052 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      These guys are top notch and know what they’re doing, an you no where need to spend that kind of money to have a bike that rips. These builds are the show stoppers that really show what they can do, but they still cater to the guys who only want to spend 5k to hit stage 2 with a few key supporting parts and maybe a bar job, obviously not from Krause.
