Me when me and my mum went on done deal to look at horses even tho we werent planning on getting a horse until xmas and getting our dream pony at the start of summer.
lol, thats me at the moment. I badly want this one mare WHO IS THE HORSE I WANTED SINCE I WAS A BABY, but my moms like, NO sell your arabian, and plus, we dont have the hay to feed another one. 😭 (but that doesnt stop me from trying!)
I’m in the same boat @Hannah’s Mustangs! I’ve been secretly looking at horses for two-ish years and watching so many horses that sounded like they’d fit my needs perfectly come and go on the market and it breaks my heart every time.. Recently I talked with my parents about a mare that I found that sounded PERFECT! I wanted nothing more than to go test ride her and see if she and I clicked. Alas they said no, mom told me I’d have to sell the pony I learned to ride on… This happened a few weeks ago and I’m still upset because my current horse is 31 and his age is finally starting to show a bit, I’m wanting to get more competitive in my disciplines but I can’t with him because I don’t want to hurt him. It’s starting to hit me that he’s not always going to be around which only makes the rejections for a step up horses feel even worse. Hopefully one day we both can find our dream horses
@@alysewilliams3344 I’ve secretly been looking for a second horse too😂 and it really sucks when the seemingly perfect horse sells to someone other than you BUT the truly perfect horse will come when the time is right. Right now I have my heart horse but I never would have picked him if he didn’t walk into my life. He’s a 14.2hh 15 yo QH beginner gelding(finally someone I can speak actual horse words to😂). I NEVER would have chosen him, but he’s perfect! Okay I’m talking too much about me… the point is your horse will come it just might not be when it what your expecting. It’ll happen, promise💗
This is very off topic but I love your mustang training work I do the same type of training positive reinforcement but I do it on retired racehorses a horse I’m working with now has been badly traumatized with riding and all sorts of things some of the things he has been through are being in a slaughter house, whips, cross ties he was even in a forest fire that burned half his ear off nobody thought he would ever be ridden but since I’ve been doing positive reinforcement training on him he is a whole new horse I like to do target training so far I’ve trained him to walk, trot, and canter transitions on a lung line, Spanish walk, and all the basics just recently I got to ride him one other person has ridden him before I’m only 12 and you have changed the way I see horses I love the work you do you are changing lives horses and people I know this has nothing to do with the video but I just wanted to share my favorite irl horses training story!😊🐴 (he is the horse on my pfp)

Lucky you, I love donkeys. 😍 There are two at the farm where I buy my horse feed, they are called Victoria and Albert. I used to beg my parents if I couldn't have a pony then could I pleeeeeese have a donkey!
Are the wild mustangs gelded before they are sold? I never thought about that, I just sort of assumed they came straight off a prairie or something and that was what you got!
You should have used the donkey they have on there, with the Eeyore ears. Pretty sure if their pick up locations were so far away I'd be bidding in that one. I have my eye on a 3 year old grulla gelding, a 2 year old buckskin gelding, the dun tobiano weanling filly, and the blue eyed sorrel weanling gelding. We really don't need another right now, we need to finish our current project, but my nephew is really itching to adopt another and if the pick up locations weren't so far away we'd probably cave. I want to say we'd get the two weanlings, so we have time to clear our plates a bit before they're ready for serious work, but that grulla and that buckskin.....

Yes- the BLM has on sight vets that sedate the stallions and geld- same with the burros!
