Oh snap! It’s Moandain!
There is something about this room that reminds me of the AVGN game room. With the paneling walls, and the way he stores his games. Maybe he's inspired by James Rolfe, especially with that shot of the sofa at 3:55.
Maybe so!
+1 for The Crow. One of my favorite movies ever and Brandon Lee's performance is incredible. So tragic that he was gone too soon and we never got to see what else he was capable of.
I have never seen The Crow I need to fix that
I’ve seen these game rooms in many different videos previously.
Moandain's gameroom is so incredible, and I thought the video came out great!
Thanks Jamie!
Please pass this comment on to Matt.
That is such a great story about his daughter. I'm so glad she was able to finally enjoy playing games. I have a similar story. I was born with a disability where I use a wheelchair and I have little control in my left hand. Ever since 1985, I wanted an NES because I loved playing video games so much, mainly Atari 2600. For my kindergarten graduation in 1989, my grandparents bought me an NES as a gift. I was so excited! I could finally play Super Mario Bros 1. My grandfather set it right up in my living room. I started playing. Then, I had a problem. No matter how many times and how hard I tried, I couldn't jump over the first gap in Mario. I kept dying. I was so upset... and so were my grandparents since they bought this just so I could play and have fun. So my NES just sat there as I watched other people play. It wasn't too long that my mom's boyfriend at the time came across the NES Advantage and thought that would be the perfect solution. He bought it for me, brought it home, hooked it up... and I finally was able to jump over that gap! As well as play other exciting NES games. I know the Advantage was meant for people who prefer the arcade "feel", but it is much more... it allows people like me and Matt's daughter to be included in the community of gamers. That NES Advantage meant the world to me, more so than the NES itself. And as a side note, now I own a top loading NES, which makes it much easier for me to pull out the games, whereas I had a hard time with the front loading NES grabbing onto the game to pull it out.
I had the same issue when GameBoy came out. The only game I can play on that is Tetris. I also had a SNES Advantage. I also had the same issue with the Switch... until I found the 8BitDo joystick, which resembles the Advantage. Again, the same issue with the Mario and Zelda Game & Watches. But I found a solution by creating a joystick to replace the Dpad. Of course, it won't fit back in the box, but I bought a carrying case for both of them. I made a video of this story here: th-cam.com/video/BohVuO_NZtw/w-d-xo.html

Never knew that about the Lunar doll, but that’s a collectible/game I’d love to get.
Yeah it was a new one to me too!
Awesome gameroom and showcase!
🤘🤘
Jenn is SO talented!
Dang, not only 1 room, but 2 game rooms! Seriously impressive collection here. I agree that those Game Gear custom cases are awesome looking. Some quality GC games in his collection too. Awesome tour!
Thanks brotha!
Great tour, great couple rooms, some really great stuff and with some fantasitc stories and memories behind them.
It was awesome to see in person!
Heh, Matt's been excited for us to see this; he's been telling us about it for a while now and it's great to see it at last.
Aw yeah, collect those physical movies!! Those insanely large 3DO boxes are the bane of our shelves. ha ha
Jen's painting is so good. Nice PocketStation; we had to have one too because I was so enamored with how close it was to coming stateside but didn't. I was hoping Matt would pull out the golden guns for Elemental Gearbolt.
That floating shelf display on the wood panel gives such a great AVGN vibe. I've seen that Lunar puppet in a rough box a few times locally; I ought to pick him up. Past few years I've pushed The Guardian Legend onto others; it really is a hidden gem.
Belt out some tunes on the Miracle!! NeoGeo Pockets are nice; that clicky stick. The Nomad, such a fun system; we managed to score a second and surprised Sega Head by sending it his way and he was caught so off guard! He'd wanted one for ages.
Glad you shared some stories on some of the games--that's always the best part.
Thanks for watching Tom I am glad you enjoyed it!
