Kris relates to spamton because their both puppets being controlled. It makes more sense if you cut spamtons strings but he still dies because no matter what he did, he could never break his strings and live on for his friends and himself.
You can also see Kris struggling to move after removing the soul in the ending scenes for each chapter, it's doubtful he could live without it for very long.

I actually think Susie wanted to give Kris a hug in that moment but was surprised and taken aback that Kris decided to just ask her out of the blue like that. She has this "mean girl" persona she's trying to maintain while actively getting used to the idea of having friends. She's clearly not against getting physical with Kris(shakes him by the shoulders, drags him by the hand to the supply closet in excitement, throws him at enemies as an attack, punches his shoulder etc.) and has clearly wanted a positive, loving relationship be it a friend(or something else lol). She is actively concerned if you say "Yes" to saying there's nothing wrong and notices he has goose pimples. For just becoming his friend, she has really come to appreciate Kris and Ralsei's company in just a day and clearly wants to keep them close. Perhaps we'll find out more in later chapters. If any chapter gives us that hug, I hope it's Chapter 3.

Ðe reason why he hugs you after you completed ðe boat ride is because when you hug him his rank changes from "Prickily Prince" to "Hug Prince" Which is similar to ðe "Bed Inspector" rank for Kris.
I don’t trust Ralsei, but I don’t think his intentions are bad, or intentionally bad. He clearly cares a lot about his friends (shown mostly in the tea theory where he has +120 when he drinks Kris’s and Susie’s tea). The only suspicious part is that Kris doesn’t seem to reciprocate the same feelings towards Ralsei. I don’t know what that means or what they know that we don’t about Ralsei. On another note, Susie better hug Kris eventually, I WILL cry.
How does Kris not knowing Ralsei that well make him suspicious? Noelle and Kris are childhood friends and Susie is Susie, meanwhile Kris has only known Ralsei for two days in a strange world they’re probably still warming up to him plus despite whatever the player chooses Kris still calls for and considers Ralsei a friend as evidenced by the Spamton fight in weird route
Mostly I would think it has to do with ralsei being a reminder of Asriel, but we clearly tell the ralsei has been having talks with Kris behind are back. So I think ralsei doesn't have good intentions but not for the characters for us the player, he is just playing his part for now.
Kris doesn't like hugs that hurt them. Asgore says that they don't like "hugs like that" since Asgore's hugs literally look like he's breaking his bones.
on the one hand ralsie hugging kris, on the other hand you're missing out on a ton of cash from the dealmaker until you get fast travel back to the first floor
