Holy shit Scott was incredible! STP was the led zeppelin, Beatles, Stones from 92 to 2010. I hope people go back and discover these songs and what they did live. Around 1995 I was listening to STP, Pearl Jam, Megadeth, Van Halen, Led Zeppelin, The Doors, Alice In Chains, The Scorpions, Metallica, Slaughter, Skid Row, and the list goes on. So much awesomeness!

Very cool. Was at this show that day/night way back in '93. Been looking for more footage of it and this helps. Do you know if any of The BH Surfers set still exits from that night? It was a REAL mind blower with the flames coming from the stage and fireworks going off every where in the general vicinity. The acid helped, but now I'm forever stuck with just "flashbacks" of their set as well. Your recording and help is appreciated. Thank you. :)

Put me in the group that never had a bad word for them or their music. I like it all the way to Sour girl era. I never got the hate..they sounded fine,sold records and never offended a single person doing it.
You have to remember that STP supposedly turned down a Lollapalooza slot that year in order do the BBQ-Mitzvah Tour with the Butthole Surfers. I can't recall their exact reasoning, but, I do half-recall it had at least a little to do with wanting to do something more low profile and far less predictable than appearing at Lollapalooza. Plus, these guys actually liked/knew the Butthole Surfers and also looked at it as an opportunity to just kick it with friends for the summer.
