Pet DIYs, DIY cat collar and wooden pet tent

- Hands up, who loves to spoil their pets? This week I am sharing some Pet DIYs and I am sharing how to make a cat collar and also how to make a pet tent.
I will leave some details below on the measurements for each item but feel free to customize this to suit your space.
The cat collar:
Length 15.5 inches long, 2 inches in width, but cut 4x times the width to allow for folding of fabric to form the strap.
I use 4 pieces of 2" x 1" wood. I cut them to 36" inches in length.
I measured up 5 inches from the bottom of each piece for the holes and angled one end of the piece for the bottom pieces that touch the floor.

I love cats, I help those who live in street conditions, a good idea to help.
We have a few cat's that come to my apartment, and my husband and I feed them, through the past 5 years we have dmfed 5 different ones, but they go missing and we are left wondering what happened

These are fantastic! Thank you so much for doing these! As someone who has 2 of my own baby girls (I can’t have children due to my chronic illnesses so my cats are like my children 😊) I greatly appreciate seeing DYIs like this!
I do wish my cats would wear collars, unfortunately every time I have put one on I find it somewhere in the house! But the tent they will absolutely LOVE! Every time I’m cleaning & dust off my shelves my cats are right in there, making themselves comfy! I have a kitty condo that has holes & a place for them to sleep top and they are always in there!
I saw a cat hammock too! I was thinking about giving that a try! My cats LOVE being by me in my crafting area, so I was thinking about putting one under my craft & sewing table 😊 - I’m not sure if you have seen those & if Blondy & Pepsi would like that kind sort of thing. That could maybe be another cat DYI if others are interested in something like that as well!

I once had a white cat that I named him Salty for he was an old Salt LOL He would have loved your Tent for a cat. It is adorable and so is the collar. You are so talented and have such great ideas to make these items.

Brilliant. You are so blooming clever. Love both of these. My cat, Georgie girl, refuses to wear a collar but she would love her own tent. She loves to sleep under a blanket or in a box so this is much much prettier. I love the way cats have to supervise when you're making something it's like they're in charge of quality control! Cant wait to see some more cat diys x

Oh thank you!!! I've been looking to buy collars like this for my fur babies! I can do ties for my boys! Its softer too for their precious necks! And it's been on my list to buy a tent for them too! I didn't yet because I wasn't happy with the colors or patterns, but now I can get exactly what I want! I'm thinking a piece of wood with two holes for the dowels.

Absolutely love Blondie & Pepsi’s tent, I bought a wigwam at the beginning of the summer for my dogs to go in to cool off on a really hot day but I will definitely be making a tent for nxt year for them & my kitty Marmite ❤️🐶❤️💙🐶💙❤️😺❤️

Wow this is soooo cute
LOVE the tent idea! You could actually still add a wood piece to the back. Just drill holes into each end and slide onto the side lower dowels (in place of the steing). That way you could just slide it back off should you need to collapse it for any reason. I hope I explained it properly. 😁
