"But he retaliates by putting a bomb under the bed where Archie and Betty are boinking, and it explodes at the very end" "...of the episode?" "I imagine it happens at the climax" *"...of the episode?"*
I actually missed Target Kids because after this and also running out of breath laughing during Tik Toks, I went to bed - it had already been a wild Night Watch.
Me 1/4th through the entire video: Yeah I think I'm glad I dropped off after season 1... Me 2/5th through the entire video: *holds head* What is this show even doing!? Me 3/4th through the entire video: what the actual BUS is happening!?
@@changingyoutubeusernameisn7302 and even that isn't true anymore*. Thx SpaceX and Starlink leading humanity to early Kessler Syndrome * Yes, I know it's an RA3 quote.
the funny part about the war Archie is sent to, is that you actually can't tell what war it was supposed to be. It legit looks more like WW1 than anything
My wife was trying to watch this and noped out halfway through season 3. I came back to this to show her how crazy it would get. She noped out of this vid once the alternate dimension stuff started.
@@littlemisspipebomb4723 If you mean the Netflix 'Chilling Adventures' Sabrina? Same one. It actually is partly to tie up lingering loose ends since that show was cancelled.
This didn't even mention Cheryl and her bees, the Gargoyle King, the farm taking over at the talent show, Betty's dad buying his way out of jail, or the bear men. They aren't important, but that's just stuff I noticed not mentioned.
"What is it with the US and high school football, also?" So, okay, I can field this one Graham. The US takes almost an entire third of the calendar year to watch NFL football, and a vast majority of those people also watch college football. In much the same way that fans of a sport team claim some credit for said team's victories, towns who provide star athletes to these teams feel pride in ther chosen ones who beat the odds and get called up to higher caliber variants of sport. In most of the country but especially the southeastern US, where the faith of a lot of people also hinges on how well their deity of choice graces their youth with talent and prowess in football, basketball, or baseball, the high school sporting events hold a revered position in this hierarchy. Archie talking about epic highs and lows is really stupid here, but there are legit people who feel this way year in and year out.
Since Wikipedia generally has a quick plot synopsis for...everything, I thought I'd go see how in the hell they could distill all this nonsense down. The answer: they don't.

To quote an early episode of Feed Dump: "For that to have gone off the rails, it would have needed to have gone anywhere near them to begin with."
That's a great quote lol 😂
I can't describe the feeling of being overwhelmed by the insanity of this story, then realizing the video was less than a third over!
16:34 I misheard it as "Jughead gets adopted by aliens" and just accepted it as normal for that show. 😂
The fact that the evening only got WEIRDER says a lot about Night Watch.
Night Watch has been the Chaos Shift for several years running at this point.
I was there live for this and the target kids. That night was a spiritual experience
I actually missed Target Kids because after this and also running out of breath laughing during Tik Toks, I went to bed - it had already been a wild Night Watch.
I was there too. It was like watching blaseball happen immediately after having someone summarize Homestuck for you.
After watching both of those live, this feels like a fever dream.
It was absolutely amazing to experience
I was there for target kids but missed this. I didn't know they happened on the same night

This was all great but "escaping to space" was what really sent me over the edge
I'm escaping to the one place that hasn't been corrrupted by capitalism... SPACE!

This video actually takes about 20% longer to watch becuz you have to rewind and go “wait wtf did they say?!?” several times.
"Go away for five minutes."
They did not know that this journey would be far longer, and FAR weirder.
20:55 One of Graham's best reactions to anything, ever.
"Encountered the Rat King" sounds so much like a code phrase.

Up there with Ian explaining the first four seasons of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure from DB10
After this plot synopsis, by comparison the last season of Game of Thrones is MAGNIFICENT.
Bonus: it wasn't actually over, there was one more season. I hope we get a summary this Desert Bus so we can see the reaction.
Watched this live. This was a bizarre Night Watch shift and this was ONLY the beginning.
Target Kids!
@@aidancox5481 Yup

I watched this live, how the BUS was it only 32 minutes???
This is beautiful
They didn't even mention Sabrina showing up to do dark magic with Cheryl!
is this the same Sabrina from the current show, or a different one?

So you're saying there's a comet destroying the world, and it ends up in a cyclical time loop, eh? This is just Homestuck with extra steps!
Roughly the same amount of shipping, so yeah that tracks.
I feel like I've been exploded into an alternate dimension.
Are we in the Hyperbolic Time chamber or something? That 5 minutes felt like 30 lol.
I was not ready
I was not prepared for Riverdale being Omelas
Was this series written by madlibs?
Julie's reaction at 15:30 was essentially my mental reaction.

This is certainly one of the shows of all time.
This is almost as off the rails as later Supernatural.
There's something about the CW, I swear.
This ruled
I... I kinda desperately need to see this show now.
The final season airs this year!
can someone please help me with the name of the song ben plays when reading out the tweet, as its something that has escaped me for a while
@Alexander Haight thank you I'm going to bookmark it so i can not so easily forget
“Spanish Flea” by Herb Alpert
Real emphasis on “loosely based” on the Archie Comics 😂
Well Riverdale is in the same universe as Sabrina the teenage witch, that at least explains the floating babies.
Wrong, KH is still more confusing and messed up than Riverdale, Jordan
And to think, next year is the 7th and final season of Riverdale
should have brought in marvel's punisher
So it's worse Homestuck?
Oh. So I have to watch Riverdale.
Final season airs this year
