Really cool episode I love the idea of having multiple different villages. You should build roads to connect the two villages (and future ones) up together! Also a raid farm would be cool for totems

To catch saplings you can place a non-full block on top and run a track with a hopper minecart under it, it's a lot cheaper! Carpet, slaps, magmablock, trapdoors, etc should work
To be honest they are kind of mid. I mean sure its no dirthut but then they are somewhat claustrophobic and also he uses the same like 5 Items to decorate.

It does, but he was also really close to his village, so who knows how fast the raid would have started and if he would have had time to consume it before it began. Better safe than sorry. Plus, bonus points that he called them pricks later XD XD XD
If you ever come across a group of pillagers, just try to get one of the pillagers to shoot and kill the main one with the banner then you can kill the rest of them without starting a raid. 🙂

It's a lot of fun to defend a village like that, unless they spawn in the village. Then it becomes a heavy life or death situation.
