We have William & Mary, Busch Gardens (you’d love it), Water County, & Colonial Williamsburg. Plus, lots & lots of old people. I work for the Heritage Humane Society in town caring for animals. Be very careful sleeping in these strangers houses, Most Americans sleep in hotels. Be Safe!
I live in Virginia and I've driven to New York and back about 5 times in the last 30 years and it's my least favorite way to go there - in addition to the aggravation of driving, there's $60 in tolls and when you get to Manhattan there's the pain of parking. Flying is my 2nd least preference, but it doesn't take you directly to Manhattan - you go to Laguardia or JFK or Liberty and then you have to commute into Manhattan. Taking the train takes you directly into Penn station but it's super expensive! About $200 one way and that's in coach! My favorite way to go to New York is by bus - only $25 one way and it takes you right into the heart of Manhattan and you can relax on the bus the whole way.
I always take buses here in the Us. I just wished trains were a viable option though. They are such a comfortable and energy efficient way of transportation.
Welcome to my home. I live in Virginia. Yes Colonial Williamsburg is beautiful. I go to Charlottesville quite often as I don’t-live far from there. Love to visit the apple orchards and vineyards on the mountains overlooking the town. We live in Richmond which is a great place to visit. Hope you enjoyed your tour. Ciao
Bless you!
I love this. It's a corollary to when I drove through Toscana 😂
