The animations are delightful to watch even on 2019 compared to Gamefreak's sword and shield games, also the announcer voice is dope. Genius Sonority did a great job indeed, battle revolution only needed a proper sountrack and a few mini games just like those that Pokémon Stadium has.

Battle revolutions was so sick in terms of animations and the announcer. Blows my mind how Gamefreak missed this and continues to miss.
This were my expectations for Sword and Shield, it's still cool, but don't deny that this is gorgeous (it even has a narrator and stuff)

Hoenn is the only region where i ACTUALLY had a hard time picking my starter, because all of them were equally awesome. Also, the Legendary trio (Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza) are the most iconic out there. Just my opinion.

@@softdrink-0 Im in the minority with this statement but the actual animations dont even look that bad. The models are somewhat underwhelmimg and it didn't really push itself to the limit with the graphics but its not a dogshit game like most people say it is imo

It’s sad a game over 10 years ago has better graphics than the latest gen. Wish they would make another game like this
Facts
This game is a battling simulator. It does not require a story, additional characters, places to walk around, dialogue longer than a sentence or two, etc. This allowed the devs to spend more times on the pokemon's models and animations.
Its a really fun game though, i really recommend it if your a fan of these spin off games, but don't expect it to be the best thing ever, it can get boring after a few battles.

Pokemon XD Gale of Darkness had all of these things with about 40 less pokemon in total than Sword and Shield.

I love how giratina ( my third favorite pokemon) just walks up to raquaza like a boss and kills him! it was also awesome to see groudon (my second favorite pokemon) and giratina battling!

When I was younger, I used to watch this video over and over again (you could see even religiously) because it was so cool to me. Looking back on it, these animations do not disappoint and the battles still look cool.

I love both of the regions but I grew up with ruby and sapphire and my favorite starter is treeko and my favorite legendary is groudon cause well ya know I grew up with hoenn. But I do love both regions very much
i grew up playing both games. i love hoenns and sinnohs starters but i like hoenns legendarys better . both games had very good gameplay and would play any of them if i still could

I found myself wincing every time one of the Pokemon got hurt, that's how expressive these animations are. Sad that these animations are better than the ones we have years later.
I know this video is almost 3 years old but I still had to comment on it and say how long it's been since I've played this game. I used to play Battle Revolution all the time with my brother and those were always fun. Nice video man, it really brought back some childhood memories of mine 👍

This game makes more sense than the other newly released game. The pokemons size n moves makes more sense here i wish they could have continued making other versions of this game n with better graphics.

Even at full HP, Groudon vs Giratina would be a Groudon win based on the moves used. Groudon has high defense and attack while Giratina is a wall with passable attack.

Battle Revolution is by far in the top 20 for the most underrated games of all time. It was way ahead of it's time, look how pathetic the new Pokemon games are. The animations and graphics were stellar plus you had a battle comentator. Sad how kids nowadays suck off the new Pokemon games which are rushed and just aren't interesting.
It's sad that Rayquaza got taken out so quickly and it's the flippin Weather Trio Master

It's me Adrian it's the move. Sinnoh only had level up moves and no coverage moves. Basically, it's battle ready pokemon from hoenn vs npc with starters n legends. Hardly a fair fight
