- An AI generated short film made with Midjourney and Runway Gen-2. The name of the film is "Missing Parts", by The Reel Robot. This film won Best Experimental at the WCIFF, September 2023 as well as Indie House Film Festival on Oct 31, 2023.
Synopsis:
A dedicated robotics engineer pours her heart into creating a lifelike robotic dog. As her creation evolves, hidden motivations behind her passion are revealed.

Thank you! No, I find that with the state of Gen-2, you can’t really write much in advance.
For any film I’ve made I’ve had a high level concept, then gotten a feel for the video outputs I’m getting that actually look good, and then I start building my story around that.
You basically need improvisational storytelling skills as of this early stage.

Excellent film with substance.. this demonstrates to naysayers that A.I. art can be more than just flashy trash, or a tool for lazy cheaters. Your heartfelt emotions shine through the technological gloss you have created true art !! How many hours did this take to make ? I've created 16,000 a.i. pictures...30 video clips...getting more serious now buying new computer lol. I wish u more success & happiness !!!
