I saw Kyren when he played an evening in Snooks in Blackheath near Halesowen, Barry came along , invited by Kyren, Barry was an absolute gem .... full of stories and admiration for Kyren ..... Barry chatted to my husband and brother during the interval , he is like a proud surrogate dad , Kyren went on to do a 147 on the evening and the audience went absolutely wild, my husband and brother included 👍 Barry is an absolute star and Kyren will appreciate this senior guy for ever 👍we are now following Kyren... and Barry 👌
Become a fan of Kyren recently, not only his gameplay and seeing him on your channel, but he’s a great sportsperson. The other week when he told the Stewards not to kick the old gentleman out for his phone going off, and asked them to put it on silent for him, I gained a lot more respect for him. A gentleman of the game!

I don't think it is possible to cue straighter than Mr. Wilson in this video. Nicely done.
And now I know why. Kyren is a professional snooker player !
john. A lot of frustrating hard work has gone into developing that cue action, I can assure you it has not been grooved overnight.

Hi Barry, thanks for the video. It's great to see a player of Kyrens calibre practice and get an insight into his practice routine. Couldn't help but notice the control he has over the cue, it's perfectly straight on every shot. This is an area of my game that I seem to struggle with. More practice videos with Kyren would be very helpful. Keep up the great work!
KeNnY1104. Yes Kyren is one of those players that tries to keep low and parallel, it is not the same for every professional but most amateurs don't pay enough attention to it.

This video is absolutely brilliant, it really is a joy to watch as a snooker fan and getting to see the sheer quality of Kyren's play and also the talk through of what he's thinking and why he's played each shot in a certain way. Bravo chaps.

He may have lost the final of the masters but he has definitely won many hearts. I will be cheering for him not only for the grand prix but also for the world championship this year. The best video on TH-cam! Fantastic insight, also great to see a master coach at work too. Always puts things in positive!, encouraging way. Great to see that Barry always works with a players strengths instead of trying to mould him into a robot player. Really great to see this insight from Kyren. A lot of pro players would be very protective of their practice methods but from an amateur's perspective that makes the game more impenetrable so I really appreciate this video. Good luck in the future!

This is the best thing ever on snooker. It is the first time anyone has ever shown how a real pro warns up for an actual match. In almost all other sports you can get a good idea how the pro's warm up just by attending the event. In golf you just go to the practice range and see the pros( which can shock the average player). In tennis you buy a ticket and got to the practice courts.
Till now snooker has been hidden.
At 34 minutes the safety practice is a great idea. I am going too play that as a competitive game. One point for a cue ball between the back of the D and the cushion.

Wow, great video, just what I needed. I'm the type of guy who never really knows what to do with the little table time I have. Usually I end up playing just line up type of routines but of course it's better than useless smashing of balls. These videos really are golden information for me as I lack proper routines to get the most of the time I have. Thanks a lot and good luck to Kyren!

I do like to watch Kyren, he's got a great level of game and his game is interesting enough to get myself looking for matches where he's playing. He shows an excellent technique and drive. Admirable!
pooleroes. Many thanks. His game has come on in leaps and bounds, every level he has reached has been a sort of apprenticeship along the way. From amateur to professional then back again, regaining his professional status once more then becoming a top sixteen player and ranking winner.. All achieved by hard and sometimes frustrating work.

I recently discovered this channel, and I must say its excused. I joined a snooker tournament a month ago and was my very first time playing snooker as well, I came third between some of the best players in my country and I am proud to say I was noticed and I am being sponsored a snooker table after that performance. I will be doing my absolute best to meet Kyren on the snooker table one day and all the other snooker legends.

This was one of the more valuable videos. Great perspective. I now have more exercises ( and fun) to add to my practicing. I like to make up little games out of these elements.

One of the finest practice videos I've ever seen. I live in the Midwest of the USA, and shoot mostly on 9 ft. billiard tables. Sadly, there are no snooker tables within 150 km of me. Outstanding structure of this practice, and I'll be adopting much of this in my practices. Big fan of Mr. Wilson, you make a great team.
