I remember when sailing all over the Med with my parents about 30 years or so back, those FADs were all over the place Anywhere we went pretty much. Really common. Glad to see you guys sorting it out, nice job
I'd wager Irish seas suffer the same. The over-fishing and illegal by other EU nations is decimating Irish fish-stocks and HAS decimated a once thriving fishing industry, and rich diversity of other sea mammals..
Often have I wondered and said, "Now, I wonder says I, just how much exactly do folks think, of all the fish stocks removed, ACTUALLY gets bought and paid for fairly, then consumed, and how much is UNsold, wasted? How much in the way of "by-catch" as they call it in trawler-speak? The sharks, dolphins, seals, other sealife, dead and stocks dwindling, for swimming in the wrong bit o'sea at the wrong time?

Investigation shows limpet mines used to blow up the vessel. 1981: Sea Shepherd claims responsibility for the sinking of the two whaling vessels, Ibsa I and Ibsa II, in the Spanish harbour of Viga. This organization is pathetic.

I am from the Mediterranean, and I can say if the Meditarranean Sea is the most overfished sea on the planet, then the rest seas are completely fine.
