I’v watched quite a few different Spanish teachers online now, this guy is definitely my favourite has such a good teaching style and cool catchphrases like ‘You guessed it, I’m gonna draw a table’. He could basically replace Nicolas Cage in any of his movies and do a better job in my humble opinion.

Agreed. I really appreciated him saying this. We often try to get a great deal and forget about the person we are buying from.
Love the point you make in the Cultura section at the end about haggling. On my first trip to Mexico on spring break, I haggled with an abuela over a pair of earrings until I was able to get them for half the price. When I proudly showed them to my sister, she said, "Great, so you ripped off an old lady just so you could get a deal." That took the luster and shine right off those earrings. While I did think they were overpriced and my haggling was justified, I never fully enjoyed them after that. It was as if a bad karma was connected to them. On my most recent trip to Mexico, I felt happy to pay the asking price to vendors and artisans, knowing that I was helping to support their hard work, artistry and craftsmanship. The truth is, if you have the money to go on vacation, you probably have the money to pay for what you want to purchase.

Do understand that way of thinking also distinguishes tourist prices vs locals and quickly perpetuates with ALL items associated within the "Tourist" areas or "Gringo Prices"

It's hard to nail down the pacing of a language lesson (at least for me), but with your lessons I can follow along, make notes and learn without having to pause and listen again or fast forward. Nice videos.
As a Filipino, learning Spanish is easier.. Only watched few of your videos, and I feel like I can speak Spanish in no time
I have studied using Rosetta Stone, Duolingo, and Babel, all are good but I feel all I did was rote learning. Your lessons are filling in the WHY things happen in Spanish. I am amazed on how you go from English to Spanish with a perfect accent for each.

Thank you for encouraging people to be aware of the value of items to be purchased, and to pay a fair price. So many tourists believe that half of the fun of shopping is haggling the seller down to a super-low price, instead of paying what is reasonable. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

I am currently stuck at home cuz of Covid-19 and thank you for keeping my mind occupied. I am a new CNCOwners and they are the reasons why I am learning Spanish. I am just very thankful that some Filipino words has the same meaning to Spanish words hehe. And kudos to Dr. Danny Evans he explained the lesson very well. I understood it immediately. It has only shows how effective professor he is.
I saw some other videos and apps to learn Spanish but their way was very complicated. On the other hand, your way of explaining and teaching is very simple. I've attended only 5 lectures till now and learn a lot through them. Thankyou

So far so good. I subscribed. I have learned a little Spanish about 12 years ago, watching telenovelas, because I am Romanian and my language is founded on Latin, but lately I was trying to improve my Spanish, to be able to speak with some of my friends in their mother language. I understand more and more, when they talk, almost everything, but I am not able to reply, only with great difficulties. Now I know some of the basics from Spanish, thanks to your channel, so I thank you for that. I hope I will do better in the next few months, if I keep learning, and practicing.

Love your classes, my Spanish has improved so much since following you. But really appreciate your ethicacy. Yes, those of us lucky enough to visit or travel to developing nations should pay a fair price for goods and not haggle too much. After all you wouldn't haggle at your local farmers market or supermarket. !
