At my home congregation, while in the Army at service, or a couple times visiting other congregations. I have a lot of Easter hymns I like, but this is the best, perhaps the most universally popular.

Love the music love the stately tempo that befits the grand message beautifully. But the words are different than what I've sung all my life - did I miss the phrase "Christ has opened paradise!" ?
Absolutely beautiful ! I love how the parishioners and the choir sing together and the choir doesn't take over the song, but brings a level of beauty to the interpretation of it with their harmonizing. Great choral direction !!!!

I am not terribly orthodox in my beliefs, but great liturgical music powerfully uplifts and inspires me and pulls me back from the brink of agnosticism. Well, it's beautifully performed. And I know tempo is a tricky thing, and too fast is just as bad as too slow; and those terms are subjective, anyway. But this didn't seem quite "triumphant" enough to me, and I think that's partly because it was a bit, just a bit, too slow. But what do I know? Not much, really.

We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21: 8.
