Please don’t put a hamster in water , it strips all the natural oils in there fur and they can’t get it back , it’s used to keep them warm , without it they are cold and could get really cold especially if they don’t have at least 6 inches of bedding to keep them warm

It is also a very stressful situation for hamsters and stress itself can make a hamster susceptible to illness. Hamsters are land mammals and while they can swim they should not be in water. Try giving hamsters sand baths if you want to get them clean, as it’s how they clean themselves in the wild.
