the is300, my favourite car for beating the game. it has a mercy system when you drive tier 1 cars so blacklist is easier, try it with an is300 first then with the viper or any tier 3 car [both fully tuned] you will see great difference in the difficulty.
Ea probably planned to add Nissan's to the game before but failed, so if some cars in the game sounds familiar to something like underground 2 Nissans then probably that's why
