I have the EVO in .30 and it is the most interesting gun I own. Everything runs smooth as butter, easy to Everything runs smooth as butter, easy to cycle the bolt (because there is no hammer spring like traditional airguns, The trigger is amazing:")
Yeap, look at those group. I haven't shoot any other branch projectile than the Skout sniper slug so far on my side. I'm very happy with the current out of the box consistent same hole for a month now. I believe even with bad projectile, maybe messing around with the dwell time, it may fix it but I can be very wrong.
I got mine with the 34.5” and 25” in .22. I don’t think I’ll ever use the 34” because the 25” is a laser beam compared to it. Loather Walther is going to start manufacturing 32” blanks shortly is what someone said the other day.
The electronics incorporated into the rifle is unnecessary...why put all this electric garbage on this thing? what a bad idea..I have 2 PCP rifles not 10 just 2.. a Benjamin marauder.22 and an avenge x bottle gun .22.. both of them out of the box gave me grief to dial in..the avenge x was a nightmare..I had to free float the barrel ...rework the regulator ...do 20 mods to get it perfect..both rifles needed the triggers and Hammer/ Hammer springs customized..if either rifle had all this electronic garbage incorporated into the triggers I would have no doubt been forced to yank it all out and toss it..
This is a beautifully made rifle... quality, functionality, innovation easy maintainance and $ is what comes to my mind when I see it... If I could afford it for sure I would add it to my collection. The only possible improvement I could think about is semiauto and quick bottle change...
It's actually not that much stuff. Just a micro switch fo the trigger. The battery lasts forever. No HTS in this gun. Sounds like you know how to squeeze the accuracy out of the PCP's. Alot of guns need tuning...and maybe a mod or 2. Hopefully the AV X shoots great once it's dialed in.
In short, the electronics reduce variations caused by inconsistencies of mechanical operations. As good as they have gotten with hammer spring valve airguns, they will always have a larger margin of error shot to shot than an electronic spool valve system like in the scout.
This is a very well made and well thought out rifle. I shines quality too. Would love to have it with .22-.25-.30 caliber kits. And while I’m dreaming here for a moment I’ll take a .45 caliber Rattler too😂
None of the reviews for this air rifle answer a question I have and I've watched several of them. Can this be shot without powering it on? If not, it becomes a very expensive paper weight imho.
@@AirgunChannel There may be a whole host of reasons why you don't have battery power. For instance, a hurricane disaster and no power for weeks. Now I have to hunt to eat. Unplausible, right? My point is, if that happens, you are left with an expensive unusable weapon. Due to that, personally will pass on getting one of these and look to other options. IMHO this is suited to competition shooting and nothing else.
Pretty much the same computer screen as the DYE paint ball gun, you can do almost every thing with it ,,it will even tell you when you need to oil the o rings or get it serviced ,and has a record of how many shots youv don since day one ,very useful if your buying a second hand one you can tell how much use its had the DYE one even has wireless charging ,,Plus having a big screen means you can easy change things out in the field easier ..Its the future ..Theyl probably make a gun with an in built camera on it so you can upload direct to you tube..Im not sure about this one but on the DYE you can upload pictures onto the screen ie like your teams LOGO , It will even fault find a part that might need changing or cleaning
I always enjoy your reviews, but I don't want or need all of those bells and whistles. It's just more that can go wrong/malfunction. Simple is better. That's why an AK 47 Is so efficient. Same with an old school Remington 700. In my mind, one of the best sniper rifles ever.
Well I can't believe that this was supposed to be a slug slinger and I didn't see one slug shot in this video, and what's even worse is that Skout makes there own damn slugs ,SMH ,DAMN!!!!

Excellent review Nate,,,love the sound effects.👍🖖
Thanks man! The EVO is my new best friend.
That is one super sweet rifle! I liked that know your limits target. It looked very nice. Excellent review as always!
Thanks man! Was the target nice enough to pay $399 for one? That's the question. Bug-A-Boo charges me $100 an hour to weld those.
I think if they were a little cheaper, they would sell like crazy! The target looked really well made.
After a long time to see the guy that's awesome
The gun did most the work!
Love your video's and the gun......This particular one was super clear.

I love my .30 Epoch. Airgun perfection!
I believe the rear stocks are interchangeable between the guns as well, so you could take one off your epoch and put it on the Evo
Yes, if it wasn't red! But I got an extra bench stock coming with my "Red" Evo...same gun, but Red
@ so are you keeping the black one too or are you just testing it and then buying the red one?
Great video as always, did the EVO come with that arca rail from pyramid air or was that a separate order?
You have to buy them seperate, $200 But mine came with it...not sure what's up with that. Could be some of the first ones have ARCAs included.

I like your tripod setup?... what brand is it?
She's a keeper Nate!🎉😂
Oh yeah! I got the same one in Red. Still have not opened the box!
My favorite air gun
Now it's my favorite gun too.
Sick looking gun ngl!!😎
I agree. I love it!
Have you thought about doing a video on Barra 250z
Yes, I'll get one soon (probably)
Excelente video y un lujo los rifles skout 👌👌👏👏👍👍🧉 saludos y a seguir así disfrutando y esos rifles 👍🇦🇷
Thank you! -Nate
Great review as always. Been patiently waiting to see this one. Were you using the standard hybrid barrel or the upgraded LW? Thanks
That was the LW barrel.

That's kinda what happened here with my .30. I still have not shot my 34 inch barrel!

Wait till you see the Red one! I have not opened it yet.
They are $1699 now with no bottle or case.

Can't fire when no power but why would that happen when your battery last 2 weeks and the gun turns itself off.

I have a battery Power Bank that has 30000 mAH of power which would charge the EVO at least a couple of times , so the power will be back on by then.
Dark One... Feel the Light Force! 👍🏻🤠✌🏻

@AirgunChannel howdy BB-8 🤠✌🏻
That thing’s straight “Sci Fi” lookn’ Cool gun.
Future proof for sure! The future is NOW! ... I am waiting for one to pop up in a Movie. It's just a matter of time.
@ Yes. 😂
Hell yeah! 👍🏼🤙🏼🤟🏼
Super gun 👍...great 💯☑️🌟🌟🌟
I agree. It's deadly accurate. ..and easy to use!

Shoot I'm looking for a big bore Air rifle 😢
Get a Skout 357
what a beauty..
I agree. I love the look of them. The maching around the trigger/reciever is awesome.
@@AirgunChannel yeah they put a lot of love in this fabrication process.
Are you and Toxic Matrix on the same channel??
No, He lives next door.
@ ok, makes sense now 😂😂 I remember the TR7 in some of the videos too👍🏽
@ BTW, that Megaladon I bought is freaking fun!
I needs knives. Dos, deux, 2, two. Info?
I have them for sale. You can email me at kaylaindy@gmail.com
What is the use of that electronic gadget thing?
Muito legal 😮. Quanto deve custar uma carabina dessa? E de qual país você é?
Is the trigger electronic ?
Nice bit of kit but you'd expect that for £3000 ($3900) in the UK.
Wow. Order from Krale Airguns
👍
Hell yeah!
Mangia! 👍

Yes, This won't fire when full of mud or sand like an AK. Gotta love the AK!

Those Skout slugs were made by CORBIN. Slugs will be in the next video.
@@AirgunChannel Now i hope for Skout Evo gun can shoot heavy weight H&N and Zan Slugs accurately
Nice video, great shooting. This rifle a bit to complicated for an old guy like me, but it performs unbelievable. Merry Christmas 🎄
At 11.4 lbs it's a little on the heavy side.

Not back yard friendly... at those speeds. (sound)
It was not too loud. A good adapter and LDC from DonnyFL would do the trick.
Seems extremely loud even with the suppressor
Yeah I used to say that too eppock 😂😂😂😂no is called skout epoch
LOL.... really fast for pellets but grouping well!
Yeah, still stable at 950- 970 fps
The time will come when people rely on electronics to do everything for them. No respectable marksman wants or needs all of the gadgets.
When this gun beats the FX M4 in competition then people will understand. But an M4 will do about the same thing...or a DRS Pro
@AirgunChannel I would like to see what all of those guys could do shooting free hand. Especially with bullets whizzing by and ordinance going off. That's a true marksman bro.
nobody is shooting pellets from at least couple of years
