here's a tip for fighting eos as a rex: if the eo uses sharpen, make sure to keep attacking until the animation ends, then back off for about a minute until the sharpen horns buff ends after that you can activate the tyrant roar buff and keep attacking
i feel like when you hunt the wrong person, you get to be a target for a huge clan. That is a thing in this game, as i saw it happen live on discord on official game servers more than once and only in this game it is so common that it is a huge problem, at least for me. Like really i was in 2 clans and accidentally killed a clan member, which immediatly got taken to the discord clan and leaded to a hole 10 man force searching the hole map for the killer until i let them know it was just me lmao. I bet it is a thing on private servers too
It happens on bob, the isle, day of dragons (the one that encourages it) and really any game of this fashion. I find pot to be the best out of them when it comes to clans and their bs. Just remember if it takes 10+ players to kill 1 they suck at the game and can only win by being in a clan.

However, when approaching groups like that, they often kill you. I was calling from a distance & even asking if I could join their group in global. They ignored me. They started looking for me it seemed like. They didnt 2 call at all & thats usually a clear enough sign to run the other direction. They don't want you. So when they all ran down Death pit, I decided to kill one of their Juvi Spinos that was stupidly left alone. After I ran off, I got a group invite. I accepted. They then said ''You killed our Spino. :)'' They were so dumb tho for all coming at me at once. I could see all their usernames moving quickly towards me. I messaged back ''Ye, what are YOU gonna do bout it? Gotta find me first! :)'' And I left the group before they got close enough to find me. They really thought I was stupid enough to not know what they were doing as soon as all those usernames started heading towards me at full speed. They ended up losing me & it was the most hilarious thing ever. But FR, Ive been cannibalized dozens of times approaching a group I wanted to join. No rules server players can be cruel as hell but it can be a heck lotta fun!

I've had people try for 2+ hours to kill me and they never do, I just keep killing them and they get even more mad. Do the whole group invite thing and act nice but alas they just cant catch up. People really gotta learn to accept a loss its just a game. No rule servers can be rough but those kinds of servers is where you learn to get better at the game, unless you just sit in a big group lol.
@@2b2v Oh and another thing those herbies suck ass, one of the main reasons I don't play this game is toxic mixpackers, oh and btw I have a suggestion for an isle legacy video (that is if you want to make one ofc) you could try to play fully grown juvi theri (or as I call it dwarf theri). It is actually really fun to play as mid-tiers will dare to attack you and you can defend yourself against them since full juvi theri is pretty strong (about 2.5 tons in weight and pretty decent attack) plus you are fast as a dibble and have insanely good stam regen. Either way I really enjoy your vids, whatever game you play you make it hella fun to watch, your editing style is really spot on and always makes my day, thank you for that ❤👊

True, the only downside is that they have a very slow base sprint speed, almost anything can catch them if they know how slow they are and you can really abuse that if you are fighting one (to be fair tho ambush speed is as fast as a Utah sprint tho)but they are definitely fun to play as I've done some crazy stuff with it plus it grows insanely fast @@dragonmasterofficial6021

I mostly play herbivores, mainly eotriceratops or iguanodon, but damn, alot of the herbivore players are absolute cancer, one minute your minding your business, then all of a sudden you get sawrmed and your legs are broken and bleeding
I'm glad you are playing on community servers. Normal no rule multiplayer server are the honestly terrible now. Carebearing, killing on sight and mixpacking are all bad.

I played PoT a couple months ago, ya realized I didn’t have the time to do annoying quests and try to grow my ALLO over the course of like a week or however long it takes. For me to see you upload a Rex video in that game… man props to you for being able to do that, I could never. How do you have that much time 😂? Last thing, love your uploads, 2B.
He played on the Obsidian Jungle server so it shouldn't take too long, roughly 6-7 hours if you have a consistent amount of quests done. Biggest reason is the slight passive growth that does help a bit!

Kentro has an ability that keeps them from being damaged by tall fall heights and they can jump. I main kentro and I use the jump to land tail swing headshots on taller targets like dasp and such. They take fall damage like tanks.

After watching this, regardless of what people say about Isle Legacy combat, GOD IT'S SOOOOO BETTER AND MORE FUN!! The stand offs, the mind games, the jostling for position, the brutality of making ONE error, having actual skill to ride a dino. Isle Legacy combat is way more PLAYER skill based, not what skills your dino has. This is the future for EVRIMA combat, RIP! Watching this reminded me of playing TEKKEN 3 on PS1, just button mash your shit until you win or lose. None of these fights I watched in this video felt intuitive or engaging, not to watch, but to actually play. Before anybody get's angry about my opinion on the combat comparison, 1, it's just an and my opinion on the combat. 2, I will forever dislike EVRIMA for the exact same reasons. 3, there are plenty of positive things to say about POT.
As someone who plays both consistently, evrima take much more skill to fight in than legacy. I have over 1,000 hours on the game, and the fights in evrima allow your skill to kill other players, not just begging for them to make a mistake tail riding you.
I play all three. Evrima takes far more skill than PoT, and I like PoT lol. It's not even a competition. But you can like PoT more, it's cool. I just don't think hating evrima for those reasons has any actual ground. The idea of PoT combat being more engaging than evrima is just laughable, and again, I love both games lmao. But evrima is honestly worlds ahead when it comes to combat being skill based. PoT is just more fun for chill gameplay/RP based gameplay, since it has more dinos/mechanics. Those dinos and mechanics are half baked and often reused, yes, but still fun enough. To each their own lol, but for those who have not played evrima, I wouldn't use this comment as deterrence to trying it.
The isle takes 0 skill,just left turn bite and hope ur hitbox is buggier than ur prey's...if u want a skillbased game,beasts of bermuda takes ten times more skill
I've played all 4 of the big titles (counting Evrima and legacy separately) They all have their issues. Frankly Evrima's optimization keep me from setting foot there much, but the combat was the usual running around joust style.. nothing amazing. BoB caters to groups.. a full 3.0+ generally mops the floor with lower levels. PoT is my current of choice now that Isle Legacy is dead. 1v1's have a lot more going on than just facetanking until someone falls down. Watching 2v2 apex fights really doesn't convey a lot of the strategy and stam management that you dont see in apex dps races.

If you are a single dino it’s kinda hard to play this game. Pretty much anything in groups can take down things if they are patient enough. Try finding some groups to play with.
I think rex needs a few nerfs in this, shouldn’t be able to easily take down an eotrike. If they can beat it 2v1 that easily WHOS ever gonna want to play eo unless in a herd?? Further more 19:25 Rex should NOT be able to run that fast!!! It looks faster then freaking allo!! Needs to have a speed and stam nerf so it can watch its use of it wisely. And only have that kinda speed in a charge/ambush use

Allo in ToJ takes around under 2 hours to grow with enough quests if I remember correctly.

those lag spikes on 17:00 it is prob because of your internet. Since it could be connecting every so often and hence why lag spikes. (since the other people didn't seem to have issues? or it seems that way)
The lag issue is a known issue in the game right now, mostly stemming from since they just added cross platform for console

If you are a single dino it’s kinda hard to play this game. Pretty much anything in groups can take down things if they are patient enough. Try finding some groups to play with.
I think rex needs a few nerfs in this, shouldn’t be able to easily take down an eotrike. If they can beat it 2v1 that easily WHOS ever gonna want to play eo unless in a herd?? Further more 19:25 Rex should NOT be able to run that fast!!! It looks faster then freaking allo!! Needs to have a speed and stam nerf so it can watch its use of it wisely. And only have that kinda speed in a charge/ambush use
This isn’t an official server, stats are modified, but even still, Rex is broken on this server.
