This has been their ending song in a lot of their concerts. Imagine doing this after almost two hours at Lovebites speed, and looking as fresh and energized as they do. I'm going to see them in Sept and I've never looked forward to a concert more than this.
Miho was a glorious past, Fami is the present and future following it. Finally Lovebites can tour worldwide and play their hearts out live to their beloved fans. If you're on that crowd, as a fellow Wolfpack, I beg you... Open up your hearts entirely and let them guide you. And howl loudly. Give them love! Just my opinion from watching their performances on YT and Blu Rays of their performances, but I think that what makes Lovebites so exceptionally good is not only that they are all unbelievably talented, but that they are so ready to support each other in the performance. There seems to be none of the ego on show that has damaged so many other great bands down the years. They obviously spend untold hours practicing and collaborating on the music, and it really shows. They seem to truly be friends and 'comrades in arms'. So looking forward to seeing them play live in London next June.

Miho has single-handedly and irreversibly changed metal music. The stoic and high quality metal music soul has been inherited, but with a happier, more positive and elegant element. The composition and ensemble have evolved greatly. Miho scouted elite musicians who could conceive and realize this groundbreaking concept. Musicians who have listened LOVEBITES can never go back to the way they were before they listened it. Much music will be made in the future by people influenced by LOVEBITES. In a few years, the change should become apparent. Even if Miho leaves LOVEBITES, her achievements will not change.
There is 1.5 seconds at the very end of the song, where Fami is looking at her bass and is expressionless. For the rest of the song she is continuously smiling. The band has always had uplifting music and lyrics, Asami is up there with Freddie Mercury as a front person and this song is easily a match for “We are the Champions” as an anthem. And the happiness factor has been turned up to 11 with Fami’s presence.
No offence taken. Miho will always be respected by us, but she was always more comfortable in the background. Fami has simply continued to deliver what Miho started, but added her own spice to the mix.
as it goes with miyako trying to find those moments when she smiles - it goes with fami trying to find moments when she doesn't have that HUGE grin. do you think she's having fun yet ? !
From what I watched, I think the following band are not your first choice in life, but I will suggest them for you: Band Maid, Gacharic Spin and East of Eden - the first is 10 years old, the second is 13 years old and the last is around 6 months old. Choose something recent to get the now a days feeling. Then Nemophila and Hanabie may be your main dish.
I'll compare them. As good as Miho is as a bassist (and she is very good), Fami is BETTER. Not only can Fami keep up with Miho's speed finger plucking, she has the added technical ability with her slapping that adds something that simply wasn't there with Miho. I'm expecting that Fami's technical ability is showcased a bit more in future songs.
An oddity. Asami accidentally or consciously sang the last lines of verse 2 in verse 3 :) Nevertheless, it was a great performance. "People who've never made real enemies have never stood up for what they believe" instead of "Don't give up on your life, fight for what's right
Although the Lovebites fanbase can get a little crazy at times, no reactors should feel afraid to share their opinion on something relating to the band, or feel like they are walking on eggshells when they do. If anything, that sort of thing speaks poorly of the fanbase itself. To me Fami is much better than Miho, and that is my honest opinion on that subject, and I don’t change or silence this opinion because of any fanatic fans of Miho. I also much prefer reactors who say what they actually think, without thinking of what to say in order to please everyone else. I understand these channels are fueled by likes and views, but I’m hoping that doesn’t greatly influence their actual opinions here. Just sharing my thoughts.

No offence taken. Miho will always be respected by us, but she was always more comfortable in the background. Fami has simply continued to deliver what Miho started, but added her own spice to the mix.

From what I watched, I think the following band are not your first choice in life, but I will suggest them for you: Band Maid, Gacharic Spin and East of Eden - the first is 10 years old, the second is 13 years old and the last is around 6 months old. Choose something recent to get the now a days feeling. Then Nemophila and Hanabie may be your main dish.

I'll compare them. As good as Miho is as a bassist (and she is very good), Fami is BETTER. Not only can Fami keep up with Miho's speed finger plucking, she has the added technical ability with her slapping that adds something that simply wasn't there with Miho. I'm expecting that Fami's technical ability is showcased a bit more in future songs.
An oddity. Asami accidentally or consciously sang the last lines of verse 2 in verse 3 :)
Nevertheless, it was a great performance.

But Fami is Amazing
Although the Lovebites fanbase can get a little crazy at times, no reactors should feel afraid to share their opinion on something relating to the band, or feel like they are walking on eggshells when they do. If anything, that sort of thing speaks poorly of the fanbase itself. To me Fami is much better than Miho, and that is my honest opinion on that subject, and I don’t change or silence this opinion because of any fanatic fans of Miho. I also much prefer reactors who say what they actually think, without thinking of what to say in order to please everyone else. I understand these channels are fueled by likes and views, but I’m hoping that doesn’t greatly influence their actual opinions here. Just sharing my thoughts.
