  • Parisian Style Mirrors are very on trend today and you can make one for a quarter of the cost thats on market (That means not having to spend $1000 on a mirror! Yay!). I absolutely love the final results of this little project and although as you will see it didn't go as smoothly as I had anticipated, it was definitely worth it! Hope you guys enjoy the video and let me know what you think!! Have a great day loves Xx

    It’s become quite common now to use spray paint instead of brush painting… The entire frame plus the part at the top could’ve been done with a brush. You’ve probably inhaled a lot of poison which is not good not for you and not for the environment. You did a wonderful job though.

    • @TheDesertDaffodil
      @TheDesertDaffodil  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You’re absolutely right, I’m thinking if I had painted it with a brush it probably would have been less hassle as well 😭

    To whoever is reading this Jesus loves you and he’s coming soon. All you need to do to be saved is believe that Jesus Christ died on the cross for your sins was buried and came back to life on the 3d day confess with your mouth Jesus is Lord and you’ll be saved. Today is the day of salvation tomorrow is not promised and you don’t want to miss the rapture it will be so bad like nothing ever seen before on earth. God bless!!

    Very VERY nice job!!! If youre an avid spray painter like me, invest in a spray paint gun, itll save your wrist 😁. Im glad you learned the stroke method, watching you spray all around had me screaming internally lol. Splatters mean youre probably too close, you can dab/smooth them out with a tshirt or paint dauber. Side note to give your job some longevity, spray it with a clear paint to seal and acetone will clean paint right off your mirror! 👍🏾

    It's called an "Overuse Injury" when your body is used for hours and hours to do something you are not use to doing - an actual injury to the muscles can occur. This kind of injury can be very painful. The muscles can become extremely tight and spasm. That's why it hurts, stiff and spasming muscles hurt.

    Ok so this was so cringe to watch… sorry but i need to say all the major wrongs in this video to help you or others painting in gold:
    Rule1. ALWAYS super clean ur object before painting. No grease, no dust no nothing. With alcohol.
    2. If ur usong spray cans never hold it loke she does, from up to down… hold it straight, ur arm in front, and go with large strokes from on side to the other until u cover the area then repeat. Thin even layers of paint.
    3. Painting gold: always apply one of these two color before gold: red ( for a warm tint of gold) or better use black for a really metal looking effect. The black reflects the light so it will make ur gold color look more shinny.
    4. She used too many layers of different paints there thus the specs sue got at the end. That was oil from the paint coming out.
    5. Dont paint ur mirror gold if your an average 4 or 5. Use a cooking pot ffs or the back of a spoon. Cheers and god help you all fine christians and infidels

    Hey Sasha 🙂. Just came across your video here. I love it! So many things in this video that I love, for so many different reasons lol. With that said there's a reason the "spots"/ "specks" were showing up in your spray paint. This happened because of the way you were spraying it. With painting (with a brush, and with spray paint), it's a certain way you have to do it, so tha tthere's no lines, no specks, and goes on smoothly and looks seamless and smooth. If you respond (which I'm not sure if you will or not lol), then I can share the more exact details with you.
    And with that said, even though you sprayed in wrong (verrrrrrrrrry wrong lol), it still came out BEAUTIFULLY! So I guess you're blessed 🙂
    I love DIY , fashion, and all kinds of other stuff, next time we'll have to do this together 😁lol

      I did, but if you already have a mirror that’s the size and shape you like I’m sure it’ll work to just use that!

    airbrush is the way to go you will get a smooth finish without drip. Tools are more expensive but the results are sooooooo much worth it.
