The battle with the note blocks and Morton was cool. It's cool when you have to figure out different ways to defeat the boss other than simply jumping on there head. I going to use that.

I really liked the ludwig boss fight. Just the ludwigs occasionally coming in from the top and using their wand made it so much more difficult.

I have some criticisms when it comes to boss fights.
Whenever I see these boss fight levels my mind will always goes: "meh, too easy. Could have been harder".
I don't know. Could just be my ocds
Mario boss fights have always been easy because they're part of a castle or airship level unlike other series like DK or Sonic where the boss is a level on its own.

Idk if it’s just me, but Morton’s shell, or Morton in general, is waaaaaaay smaller in Mario Maker than in the original game.
The eventual "Super Mario Maker 3" has a LOT of things to add.

Honestly I hope in super mario maker 3 they allow you to choose attacks for the boss so it's Easyer to make bosses from games like take Roy for e.g they can give you the option to give him his bullet bill launcher or not go into the ground or lemmy you can choose bomb balls or balls or make his ball big or small without his size changing or Ludwigs flying ability or make Wendy a ice skater or give jr his under water clown car
That boom boom fight with music blocks is genuinely terrifying

For money reasons, Mario maker doesn’t give you a lot to work with in terms of trying to recreate past standard levels. But I have to say these are solid.

Kamek could have a goomba stacked on top.that way,you hit him 3 times and,since he's big,you don't see it.
No because this way you are sure they must hit kamek 3 times in others a simple ground pound fire ball etc would insta kill kamek
I mean it's true,we can't really recreate kamek.there's no way to fix the one shot kamek kill but just make sure to don't put a fire flower (but brobably it worses the level)

I feel like NSMBU's graphics in SMM/SMM2 have been downgraded since the original game

They were and I really hate that.
The style is ugly but the game looks great
Some things i wish they shouldn't have changed. Such as: The shell in SMB style now has an animation of sliding, which wasn't present in the main game. The Cloud in NSMB style doesn't have an animation, which makes it not feel as special. etc.
@@gamesandgaming6700 i wish they didnt change some mechanics from SMB1 like the stomp one, in SMB1 it worked like this' if Mario's hit box hits other hitbox while going down, enemy gets stomped, this could have been used in kaizo levels

Tips for boom boom fights: could have had 3 boom booms per fight on the last hp. That would be tricky to set up but would be worth it

Ngl I always found the sumo bro to be a bit odd as a boss choice for world 6
I liked the placements of the bosses in Super Mario Bros Wii more, it made a bit more sense with their attacks and character's personality.
Odd, but awesome. Sumo Bro is an amazing enemy and deserved to be in Mario Maker together with Charging Chuck and Boomerang Bro.
Still a shame that Sumo Bro is the only boss in NSMBU that has never been a boss before. I like the Koopalings, but I miss the creativity that the DS version had.

Hey, I played a lvl with all the koopalings battles shown in here!
I don't remember whether Morton could kill the pokey in his fight in the original game, (or if it was a pokey at all honestly), but I feel like the creator could have stacked boos so that Morton wouldn't kill one of the things making his battle difficult.
In the Ludwig battle, you could have used the nighttime airship background, it is almost identical to the original
I think the night mode gimmick would've messed it up.
I wish you could toggle those and just have different backgrounds for night.
