Chase has no interest in any other monk except Omi. For the simple reason being Omi, like Chase, is capable of Mastering Taichi. That is why he fears Omi so much. He knows Omi can grow strong enough to overpower him one day. That is why he had hatched that elaborated scheme to bring Omi over to the dark side.

Question: Why didn't the dragon team just try to trick Wuya or Jack into the yin-yang world without either wu and then yank them back in with, say, the third arm sash? It feels like most of their problems would be over and done with.

Seeing Wuya turn good briefly made me think of a much better series finale where due to a mishap in the Ying Yang World, Wuya, Jack and Chase become the good guys and Omi, Clay, Kimiko and Raimundo turn evil. They both are now trying to get the other side back to normal, leading to a showdown for both yo-yos, and Wuya, Jack and Chase win, and they manage to turn Omi, Clay, Kimiko and Raimundo back to normal. It would've been interesting because we weirdly have to root for the long time villains. Also, throughout the episode, there would be a lot of funny moments of Dojo just feeling really awkward about the whole situation
we saw an evil kimiko here. an almost evil omi evil clay (possessed by sabini) evil raymundo when convinced by wuya an evil dojo (2 heads) a good jack a good wuya a good chase ok who is next?
That or just having both the yin and Yang yo-yos would allow you to enter the Ying Yang world without suffering the effects of losing the good/bad part of you depending on where you were before you entered the Yin-Yang world.
I really liked the temporary glimpse at evil Kimiko this showdown gave us, but the show had already done "one of the monks goes to the dark side" twice by this point. So I get why an evil turn with her didn't actually happen
Just remembered, Wuuya should have stayed good. She went in due to the yang yoyo while she only had the yin yoyo to get out. With the effect of both you come out the way you came in. I had questioned the same thing when I was younger.
If I remember correctly it was the yin yo yo that was supposed to remove your good while the yang yo yo took away your evil not the other way around. I say this because when Omi turned evil it was because he used the yin yo yo. Same when jack became good due to using the reversing mirror on said yo yo giving it the effects of the yang one.
If you rewatch the episode, the rule is that if you leave the YinYang world without both Wu you change your morality. You need both to come out whole, if you just have either the Ying Yo-Yo or the Yang Yo-Yo then you will lose some of yourself.
Oremondo and poor clay too what is happening right window stuck you couldn't even breathe and clay hanging upside down I'm guessing that looks pretty dangerous for in the two boys not going to lie that looks hurt and painful
OK, so I don't know if this is an oversight for the animators or plot or whatever, but wuya had the reversing mirror on her when she came out of the yin-yang world. Wouldn't the mirror have affected her in the reverse manner? Because Jack was reversed when he went in with the mirror + yin-yang yoyo, so shouldn't she have not changed since she only had one? Maybe it wasn't in effect cause she didn't wager it? I dunno...
bubbyjm31 I think they can use outside wu in the showdowns but only if both parties have excess number wu. Like wuya has the yang yoyo and the reversing mirror while kimiko could of had the eye of dashi as well as the yin yoyo the only ones that get wagered are the ones get collected at the end
also it's a betting game in a way. both parties put how ever many wu in the pot and collect the lot so a ten v ten showdown would equil 21 shen gong wu. that would be an epic showdown btw
Why didn't Master Dashi or one of the other super masters of the past just throw Wuya into the Ying Yang World with just one of the yoyos? Any of them would be more then skilled or at least clever enough to pull it off. Then they would have a super powerful immortal witch on the side of good
@@thegamewin100 from what i remember he only manipulated Omi to going in without both Wu knowing his chi would be left behind i don't think he actively did anything outside of the deception.
Loved chase young. I think his relationship with wuya was and still is fine. They weren't a couple and she's been using him from the start, but chase isn't stupid and realizes this so he keeps her at a distance

Either way, Wuya needed to activate the Reversing Mirror in order to use its effects. You need to call the name of the Shen Gong Wu to activate it
