Its my favourite bridge in London, more so than Tower Bridge.❤
It was always blue, when I was growing up.
You should definitely do a video on Joseph Bazalgette, assuming you haven't already, as he really helped London. You can even do a tour of a sewer.

They didn't just hate the bridge. They placed bombs all over. They are the reason litter bins were remover from London Stations.
I am a runner .Whenever I am in London I need at least one of my running session through the bridge.I simply love the way it is.Also, has anybody noticed that ,,Bohemians rapsody,, got Hammersmith Bridge in one set ?

I remember when I was on 33 bus going from Richmond to hammersmith station, when the bus went on to the hammersmith bridge we all had to wait briefly for the bus barrier to raise, when we were waiting, I looked across to my left side of the river and couldn't believe what I was seeing coming towards us from above, it was a dark grey Y shaped UFO Passing over the bridge from left to right in total silence as if it was running the course of the river then out of site.
I'm surprised that no other CCTV's have picked this UFO up. This happened around 5 years ago around 2-3pm, that's how I remember Hammersmith bridge.

It wasn't always painted green & Gold, for quite some time it was a sort of Blue Grey colour. When I was a boy, back in the mid 60's to early 70's we would often go underneath the bridge at low tide and dig around as we would often find clips of old .303 rifle ammunition in the mud! God knows where that came from???

Please bring China to build this bridge in Maximum 1month ..I live by this bloody bridge and I am suffering a lot because I can't cross to other side by my car ...

I think it won't work ..There is one good 2 solutions !!Either to demolish middle part of the bridge drive way and build a new bridge with nice designed pillars and attach the side of the bridge ...Or they can put some pillars underneath to support it if they don't want to spend money on it ...

Why push traffic off it to cause congestion and pollution in someone else's area? The truth is it's partially run by Hammersmith council (Labour) and TFL (Labour controlled) and we all know what they think of private transport.......
