In maharashtra we add fine chopped tomato-onion, chopped coriander,fried goundnut ,fresh greted coconut, in tadka mustard seed,curry leaves,hing termeric and finechopped green chili . Serving time mixer with lemon juce and sugar with farsan or bhel shev.

After some time when poha is soften, we give tadaka of bit more hing , fresh grated ginger (this is very imp item of this dish) , fresh curry leaves, peanuts, rai and jeera,turmeric and add tomato,cucumber,fresh coriander ,salt,suger and lemon juce. All this should be mixed well. This is traditional recipe i leared from my grandmother. Some people add veggies like,grated carrot,simla mirch, cabbage,onion etc. The recepie shown in this vedio looks quite similar to dadape pohe but i am sure the taste will be completely different. In Kerala, Poha is a sweet version.. This I ate in Udipi, and I was so surprised that poha can be made hot and sweet
