Question from a current applicant: When looking at applicants, are you focused primarily on ethnic and geographic diversity or are you also equally as interested in diversity in socioeconomic status, sexual preference, religious beliefs, etc.
what if I said neither? diversity is definitely not defined to those common and trite descriptions. for example, perhaps you're a white male who's a ballet dancer? I didn't write about any of the ones you mentioned. I wrote about my love of cars and talked about how that connected medicine. It got me into Columbia :D
