Most of these early 70s McDonald's restaurants were build a rounds of the the 1950s, 60s styled buildings if there is red and white tile near the kitchen area chances are it most likely was an golden arch one from then at one time before this build a round happened.
They could have donated the children's play area.
The old buildings were so much better and had better Style then these new ugly square box ones they are putting up

Building came down in 10 minutes...
I wonder why some get just are gutted and remodeled and others are teardowns. This one kept most of its original appearance (original windows with the golden arches logo underneath).
I worked at a McDonalds while it was getting remodeled, ours was gutted and redone but not completely demolished... the initial plan was to demolish it but it sat next to a gas station and the soil underneath the surrounding buildings was toxic.... it would've been way to expensive to completely demolish it because they would have to clear all the soil underneath the building in order to demolish it
Did they salvage anything that could have been used somewhere else
McDonalds has a standing policy about not letting ANYBODY use anything that was once used in a restaurant of theirs. They believe in recycling/repurposing NOTHING of their buildings, from the exterior bricks and roofing tiles, to the interior food prep and cooking equipment. 🎼🎶 At McDonalds, They Trash It All to Spite You-uuu!🎵
in moncton nb the built a new mcdonalds in the parking lot next to the old one and kept the old one open until the new one was ready, no loss of buisiness that way
