I never saw a love couple better acting like these two, so much passion, vehemence but also credible. How they looked at each other and cared for each other. Fitting perfect together. So the ending in au is a big lie- but we have the reality instead, and there they left the island together alive. Because the relatioship to Jack seemed more as they were friends or father- daughter, Jack always reacted the same way- impatient and patronizing. If she loved him, she would stay on his side until his death, but decided to jump with sawyer. The vid is georgeous and the music too!
The only reason Jack "won" Kate, is because Sawyer always took a step back from her knowing she has feeling for Jack, and that he (Jack) can offer a better future for her. Sawyer practically cleared the road for Jack. However, I'm sure without any doubt that if he would have fought for her, he would definitely won Because we've seen that he can grow up and be a responsible man, when he had a relationship with Juliet. We've also seen that Kate and Sawyer had great chemistry and attraction between them, instead of the childish "I love you, you love me" thing that Kate had with Jack. adding the fact, that he would have admitted his love to her (Kate), I'm sure that her thing for Jack would have disappeared. In addition, after Jack and Juliet died on the Island, Kate and Sawyer had lived full life, there is a possibility that the lived it together.
