The owl basically saved Grishas life when he told him to stay and watch the airship
One of the best facts on this episode: Each one of Grisha's companions turned into titans can be seen during season 1 invading Trost. The guy with the beard is the one that ate Eren in episode 5
Attack on Titan is like the physical embodiment of "Yooooooooo, that's crazy bruh!"
You can also notice that the officer is giving his monologue about how it is entertaining to watch the people suffer as titans, while standing on the physical 4th wall of the island. while staring at the audience, breaking the fourth wall. telling us that we are sick for getting entertainment by the suffering of the characters.
The payoff from this episode is unmatched. And the incoming plot twists/reveals from season 4 will break your brain.
When we realized that Dinah was the one who ate Eren's mom... I had a mini stroke. The writing in this show is 🔥

And this is where everything changed, the whole story became a whole new world

This ONE EPISODE is what solidified my love for this show as my favorite Anime of all time.
And that's where the show and it's story take a whole new turn. That's when Attack on Titan became Shingeki no Kyoujin.
