Found this again tonite! I love this hymn, your church in Nebraska, all of your talents! Your choir, organ, words highlighted, camera work, soaring voices and instruments!!
I have now listened to your choir performing this piece 70 or 80 times, as it has been on my daily play list of "Best Hymns" for several months now. Kudos to your Orgelmeister, who does not jazz up the tempo of the hymn melodies you sing to something more fitting a marching band than to a church congregation... as many American church organists are wont to do today.
This is also MY favourite Advent hymn, but special at any season ,& I am privileged to tune in on some of your services ,as well-inspiring!Greetings from Kawartha Lakes,Ontario!-members of St.Andrew’s Presbyterian Church!,Lindsay.
Every eye will see him. There will be those seeing him comming in great power and glory will say, let the rocks hide us from him who sits on the throne
I enjoy the music from First-Plymouth. Not only does your choir sing well and not only does your organist do a sterling job, but also you have not molested the language of the hymn texts to comform to street-language and the rants of the social-relevance bullies and tyrants, or whatever they are called. I have several of your choir's performances on my TH-cam "favorites" list, and listen to them every day. Thank you for a job well done. Pennsylvania sends blessings to the faithful at First-Plymouth.
A glorious Advent hymn sung in a setting close to where I lived whilst working in Lincoln. The words sound strange to those familiar with Hymns Ancient and Modern, or with the English Hymnal. Thank you for this posting... a joy to watch and listen.
I have relatives in Lincoln, someday I need to go see that organ.
Majestic Hymn. Magnificent Organ and Very talented Organist.
One of the greatest hyms that should be sung more often. Once again, a great rendition from this very talented organist an choir. Bless you all.
Christ the Lord returns to reign. Love those words
Just discovered this hymn this year, LOVE IT. Thank you for this beautiful performance of it.
This is my favourite Advent Hymn!
Behold I come quickly! Evenso, come quickly Lord Jesus! A song of Heavenly expectation. Beautifully done.

This is a good hymn if your Scripture of the Day is Revelation 11:15-19, regardless of denomination.
A hymn that is sadly hardly ever sung anymore.
Often sung on Advent 1
Wish the Trinity Hymnal had this tune. The Red one has the lyrics but a different tune

Excuse me. I see two women with a green scarf. Does this have any special meaning?
I wouldn't ask too much about this. If the stories are true then some heads might roll...
