Hi Anthony and Caroline, we're the couple that stopped you guys by Sooksiam! I realized now we should've asked you for recommendations in the mall. We clearly missed out on some goodies after watching this video. Especially the Thai coffee with grass jelly, and we were right there! Glad to have met you guys 😄
Hey! It was nice meeting you both! 🥰 😂 Now you guys know for your future travel plans to Bangkok 😁 Hope you guys had a wonderful time and the pleasure was ours 🥰🫰❤️🙏
Thanks for the video. I've been wanting to go to IconSiam, but haven't made it yet. So your video has given me a much appreciated taste. One tidbit: That standing up cake you got at Starbucks? One thing I've noticed here in Thailand are these standing up round cakes. What I've noticed, though, is a cake that laying flat would cost maybe 65-100 baht....... is 140-180 baht when it's standing up! As far as I can tell, it's the standing up that justifies the price...... and nothing else! Good cake, but it would be just as good for two-thirds the price, laying down! 😂 Cheers!
In addition to the interiors of the mall you've revisited, the most impressive one is its exterior, particularly riverfront facade ,fabricated with extra thick and high glass imported from Germany.causing Icon Siam looks so amazing.
Hi there Chovy Family, this mall is amazing and so much to see. Will there be any vlogs about Christmas Markets? Appreciate you guys. ❤ 🇿🇦 Thank you again for Great vlogs. Great work Anthony and Caroline, Hugs to Bruno. 😁👍🏻🇿🇦
Some restaurants I don't go to because come from a country I hate. Some restaurants that locals don't go to because they're expensive, even though they're popular with tourists. Some are available all over the country. The taste may not be the same, but not everyone is willing to trade deliciousness for a day's wages. This mall is on the same side as my house, so I saw it since the time when there was nothing, no one knew about it, and no one went there. Sometimes, to gain something, you have to lose something. I don't skip ads in every video, I just do other things when they come up, but lately there have been ads that are so long that I have to skip them, just want you to know that I still see you as a friend and still follow you.
Thailand in northern and northeastern part is cold in winter because its mostly mountain. In winter Thai people will go travel northern part to visit the cold weather and very good view from the mountain and sometime sea of mist in the morning. Or maybe we're just think its cold cuz hot temp everyday, maybe foreigner dont think its cold😂
@@ChovyTravelI can't forecast but it should be cold at night tiil morning and warm in daytime. It's freezing on the mountains. The changing of the weather is hard to say. I'm planning to see my dentist in Chiangmai in the mid of December too, I'll tell you by then. Wish both of you have a wonderful time wherever you go😊
Hi guys, I'm gonna be in Bangkok on 21st this month, If you have to pick between Icon Craft and Sarapad Thai, which one do you think have a better collection and price?
Hello! Very Nice! 🤔 If we had to pick, we believe Sarapad Thai has slight higher end items but with a heftier price tag. Both are so amazing and hard to choose which ones better 😅
I believe all Starbucks in Thailand hire those who are BiLingual! Though if you go to a Starbucks not close to the city center with barely a few foreigners and speak English they'll actually make them Excited to Talk in English lol!
😂 I see neither a double-L nor a "b". I see a pretzel! 😂 Is this floor sponsored by Auntie Anne's? 😂 (I like the sound of "IconVibe" better than "IconVille," though! 😂 IconSiam is going to wish they thought of it! 555)
@@ChovyTravelthere’s some kind of unique & traditional food that quite hard to find in other area of BKK.. ..one of them which I love to have every time I visit there is ข้าวแช่ “Khao-Chae” (Chilled Rice with savory and sweet complements) that quite to hard find (and try) anywhere else but plenty of restaurants that have this menu in Koh Kret 😉
Don’t ever try Great Harbor. It’s super overpriced with the most mid-quality buffet ever, and the place is so spacious you’ll spend 40% of your limited time just walking to get food and drinks. Honestly, you could get a 450 THB buffet at a 3-star hotel with the same or even better quality food. My date was totally ruined 🥹. Copper is so much, much, much better, not even in the same level. I’ve also tried Coco Ichibanya in the States. Honestly, I think the Thai version’s better 🤣. The U.S. curry is way too runny and watery for what I’d expect Japanese curry to be, though the flavor’s pretty much the same.
Please excuse my rant, but their selection was so limited! Lobster wasn’t even a thing there. At the bottom of the poster, it might says “picture for advertisement.” So, usually, there’s no lobster in a buffet that has a massive lobster poster out front. The lobster promotion is new and might not even be a permanent thing because there wasn’t any when I went. Their popular items are grilled river prawns and Peking duck, which are okay, but I think most hotel buffets have those too. The service is great, though. Overall, it just feels like the biggest tourist trap buffet, nothing more. Try Copper buffet or even Wisdom buffet for a much better experience. For me, Copper is like 10/10, Wisdom is 7.5, and Great Harbor is a solid 6.
@@ChovyTravel I forgot to mention! You gotta try James Boulangerie on the same floor as Great Harbor. It's easy to say they have the best croissants, and maybe the best pastries in all of Bangkok. Their croissants started the huge croissant trend in Bangkok back in 2022 (I think). When they first opened, it was pretty far from central Bangkok, but people would drive nearly an hour to get them. The lines were insanely long for hours, and they always sold out fast. Now they have a branch at Icon Siam with their first restaurant. You have to try their plain croissant, dark chocolate and the macadamia croissant, they’re absolutely amazing. Honestly, their food is also top-tier too, and their drinks are superb!
Can’t agree with you more. We don’t go to Starbucks much either but it was one of the spots that was requested to visit at ICONSIAM. Hope you understand 🩵🙂

Icon Siam is an amazing mall. It's worth visiting just to walk around, like a museum. 😂 I love how Thailand develop and designs their malls.
Couldn’t agree with you more! 🥰
Amazing Mall 😊 what a amazing infrastructure has Bangkok Thailand. Best city in Asia 🌏
It’s definitely, One Of A Kind.
Designated country destinations to visit once in a lifetime😊 -And designed mall to shop in once in your life = Thailand + Icon Siam for sure 👍 ❤
100% Agree! 😃
Yeah,The Iconic of Krung Thonburi.Have a nice day.

Very Nice! Definitely need to visit more than once 😁😅
Nice video , I've only been to terminal 21 ,Icon Siam is next when I return , can't wait to visit Thailand again soon.

Hello! We will be covering Christmas in Bangkok but idk if there are Christmas Markets 🤷 Our pleasure and thank you for joining us! 🥰❤️🫰🙏
@@ChovyTravel Great looking forward to it.

for Japanese curry, I prefer gold curry. But if you want apple based I would recommend Aoringo Thaniya.
Thank you so much for the recommendations! Definitely helps! 🥰🫰❤️🙏
สวัสดีค่ะ ชอบสองท่านนี้ น่า

Hello! Thank you so very much! 🥰❤️🫰🙏 Appreciate the love!
i usually order level 2 coco ichibanya. Your level is so high!
😅 I think we need to keep increasing our tolerance since we’re in Thailand 😁
The outer layer of the ice cream you ate is kadaif if a special pastry texture not coconut 😅
Oh really!? 😅 Thank you for sharing! Never had it before. Definitely had an interesting texture 😃
The twin basket is called Pin Toh. It is used to carry food similar to bento but not directly in it. Just to carrying food containers around.
Ahh! Thank you for that! Icic! Interesting! 🤔 We might need one of those 😃

Don’t underestimate the weather here 😁. You could be freezing if you go to the north or north eastern of Thailand in winter😅
That would be crazy to experience since we only dealt with heat in Thailand 😅

We do plan on going to Chiang Mai hopefully in December. Does it get freezing in Chiang Mai too!?

Can go by car , boat and train… Easier by boat!!
Makes sense why so many foreigners love it! Easy access 😃

That’s so true! It does actually look like a pretzel 😅. Me too! 😁
I think it's time for you to leave Bangkok. First, let's go to Koh Kret. This place is near Bangkok.
😅 What is there to do in Koh Kret? We will have a video coming up near Nonthaburi 😁
