I am lucky to have been a first cousin of Kristine Melton and we spent our childhoods together in Chicago. She was one week older than me and hung the moon and the stars in my world. She is missed everyday. Mila, thank you for your steadfast bravery. I can’t imagine what you are continuing to fight through on a daily basis. Keep fighting the good fight. You have our support and eternal appreciation. Your facts have never wavered. Almost five years ago, in the days following these devastating events, you reached out and called me. You offered to answer whatever questions you could even though you were still trying to emotionally process it all yourself. You didn’t know me or Kristine, but you’re a good person and you knew we were hurting. I will always remember that. Then I saw you in court in June, but we didn’t get to speak. You had the most important job, but also the most difficult. While facing your accuser, you gave a voice to Kristine and Diane and helped them find the justice and peace all 3 of you deserve. Mila is such a sweet soul that broke my heart when she said she thinks of the victims last moments. I'm shocked people have been so mean to her I had no clue that was even happening. The DA in my case told me in the courtroom that my ex had a bench warrant, but would never be brought in on it because "it's just another DV case." I tried to take my life cause of a similar guy. When he scmurdered someone and I had to testify against him at the age of 14, I was devastated on so many levels…for the victim and their family, losing my bf who I thought I loved and thought he loved me (yet he also beat the shit out of me), etc. It wasn’t world wide, but it was city wide and that alone resulted in me having death threats. My mom sent me out of state to his dad’s house (with his sister) for a month to try to let things calm down. That helped, but then when I got back and had to testify, I had both sides (his friends/gang and the other) after me. His friends saw me at a stoplight and wrote on a paper that they were going to kill me and used a rubber band to tie it to the rock-they threw it in my windshield at that stoplight. I was terrified for several years and have never created any social media because of it. He spent 29.5yrs in prison and is now out and I worry for my safety once again. At least wade will be in for life Mila…you’ll be safe from him from now on. Praying for you and your safety, your family etc in the meantime 🙏🙏🙏🙏 It’s no joke, the way people get after stuff like this and people are willing to do whatever in order to support these effing killers. It’s crazy. Mila, if you see this, please know you have an army of people on your side and you are not alone at all. You are a survivor!! Ugh😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️ my heart really goes out to you!! I am 30yrs from my experience and I still feel the trauma. Please don’t bottle this up.…keep talking about it and keep your head up! Again, you’re a survivor!! I have no doubt that he would’ve taken your life had there not been so many people around etc. prayers sister!!!
This was brilliant. It takes years of support and abuse counseling to break the patterns that allow a person to get seduced and then enmeshed in a relationship with controlling, narcissistic, and abusive partners. Mela, you’re a beautiful person- give yourself the time to heal and find those professionals that will guide you toward healing and breaking old patterns. Those changes are not easy, but with the support of others who have been through this and professionals (there are many on TH-cam too) it IS possible.

I’m a new subscriber to your channel, and I’m from the UK. I think it’s great that you’ve had Mila do an interview on your channel. When I heard her calls with Wade on JumpSuitPablo’s channel, I didn’t have a good opinion of her at all. However, since hearing that she was working with the police and media to get his confession, and also hearing her police interview, it’s clear that she has so much compassion for the victims and is just a good person who fell for Wade’s charm and good looks. I cried a bit hearing her say that she attempted to take her life 3 times. That’s awful and she certainly doesn’t deserve the hate she gets. Much love to Mila, DutyRon and Coral ❤
Wade's wives are sick in the head, most have kids. Mila was the love of his life, the only woman he begged not to leave him. The jealousy rips from them if Mila called him tomorrow he'd accept immediately and they know it.

I know exactly what Mila means when she speaks of the eyes changing as I only spent a few months with a man, right after a divorce and knew, immediately, to run. There is a glaze, a haze that goes over their eyes. It looks like they become possessed. Evil enters their psyche.

I told him at the end I am sorry I am like "this" (he is so ashamed of me for having mental health struggles) He ignored it, that was 4 Weeks ago.. I am going through university right now and just got a job at a dental hospital too. I am really scared and hope things get better eventually! Mila, God Bless you. It is NOT EASY to go up against a scary man in a scary situation, but you stood your ground and did the right thing. Suffering abuse at the hand of someone who says they love you is devastating, confusing, and demoralizing. I admire ANYONE who can extricate themselves from that situation. Lets remember in his confession interview with detectives when he was trying to get them to take him to mcdonalds and to revisit the scene where he killed Diane Ruiz, they asked him why he didnt kill Mila and without hesitation he said too many witnesses and then he tried to change it.
When the cop didn't follow or even put out a bolo on the vehicle when Wade took off from Joe's Crab Shack but, he said , "Awe, it was 'just' a battery", it took the wind out of me. That is how it goes across the country. Why is it that it takes dead women, dead wives , dead girlfriends for a battery call to be heard? I even know of the abused woman being taken to jail because the 6'3 abuser had defensive scratches from the victim. That just shows don't tell and dont fight back.
Mila not only helped police, but she showed true Compassion on the calls for the victims. She couldn’t understand why either. She mentioned their families From the start

From the beginning when people said bad things about me, it passed me off! She intentionally called him, played the girlfriend, got the confession, picked out Kristine Melton's drivers license, and testified for the state while Wade glared at her. She helped put him where he belongs, on death row! She's not fake, or all the things Kristen called her! I admire her! I don't think people remember Mila enough, she was a victim too! She did what she had to , to put Wade behind bars. She saved lives!

Mila, im a 54 year old southern woman. Ive had many absolutely wonderful moments/times in my life. Especially, being a single mother of an only son. However, ive also suffered through times that i could barely raise my head off a pillow bc of depression.. Know you are loved by The One that created you. Know others know your pain. Well, he’s a psycho with no remorse. The majority of us wouldn’t be able to live with ourselves, but it was obvious he wasn’t bothered one bit. He only gets upset when he’s personally affected… like no french fries after confessing.

Mila is such a sweet soul that broke my heart when she said she thinks of the victims last moments. I'm shocked people have been so mean to her I had no clue that was even happening. I wish mila all the very best in her business and in life. As a dv survivor the best advice I can give mila is be alone. Get a dog. Heal and love yourself. Ive been single for 2 years. I have my dog, I treat myself i'm kind to myself and I do what I want when I want. I dont think il ever date again I just attract bad guys. But I'm the happiest I've probably ever been. I also have no time for bs with men or women I protect my peace and my safety fiercely. Please do the same mila. Much love 💜
I can’t stand to read when people say Mila was not a victim. This woman could have easily been Wades next kill, it doesn’t matter what she did in her past, EVERYONE has a past. As a DV survivor, I am especially grateful to you both for speaking about this.
The DA in my case told me in the courtroom that my ex had a bench warrant, but would never be brought in on it because "it's just another DV case." He still hasn't ever faced a single consequence for something that I can't forget.
Something needs to be done in the justice system to provide more than just a piece of paper to protect victims of DV.

I tried to take my life cause of a similar guy. When he scmurdered someone and I had to testify against him at the age of 14, I was devastated on so many levels…for the victim and their family, losing my bf who I thought I loved and thought he loved me (yet he also beat the shit out of me), etc. It wasn’t world wide, but it was city wide and that alone resulted in me having death threats. My mom sent me out of state to his dad’s house (with his sister) for a month to try to let things calm down. That helped, but then when I got back and had to testify, I had both sides (his friends/gang and the other) after me. His friends saw me at a stoplight and wrote on a paper that they were going to kill me and used a rubber band to tie it to the rock-they threw it in my windshield at that stoplight. I was terrified for several years and have never created any social media because of it. He spent 29.5yrs in prison and is now out and I worry for my safety once again. At least wade will be in for life Mila…you’ll be safe from him from now on. Praying for you and your safety, your family etc in the meantime 🙏🙏🙏🙏 It’s no joke, the way people get after stuff like this and people are willing to do whatever in order to support these effing killers. It’s crazy. Mila, if you see this, please know you have an army of people on your side and you are not alone at all. You are a survivor!! Ugh😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️😭❤️ my heart really goes out to you!! I am 30yrs from my experience and I still feel the trauma. Please don’t bottle this up.…keep talking about it and keep your head up! Again, you’re a survivor!! I have no doubt that he would’ve taken your life had there not been so many people around etc. prayers sister!!!
This was brilliant. It takes years of support and abuse counseling to break the patterns that allow a person to get seduced and then enmeshed in a relationship with controlling, narcissistic, and abusive partners. Mela, you’re a beautiful person- give yourself the time to heal and find those professionals that will guide you toward healing and breaking old patterns. Those changes are not easy, but with the support of others who have been through this and professionals (there are many on TH-cam too) it IS possible.

I’m a new subscriber to your channel, and I’m from the UK. I think it’s great that you’ve had Mila do an interview on your channel. When I heard her calls with Wade on JumpSuitPablo’s channel, I didn’t have a good opinion of her at all. However, since hearing that she was working with the police and media to get his confession, and also hearing her police interview, it’s clear that she has so much compassion for the victims and is just a good person who fell for Wade’s charm and good looks. Wade's wives are sick in the head, most have kids. Mila was the love of his life, the only woman he begged not to leave him. The jealousy rips from them if Mila called him tomorrow he'd accept immediately and they know it.

I know exactly what Mila means when she speaks of the eyes changing as I only spent a few months with a man, right after a divorce and knew, immediately, to run. There is a glaze, a haze that goes over their eyes. It looks like they become possessed. Evil enters their psyche.
I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed this interview. My favorite one out of the weeks of interviews I've listened to, Mila you have the most beautiful personality. I also have cptsd due to family sexual abuse, my family recently kicked me out of the family because I won't conform and put it down to "bed" I want to unalive myself too on occasions. I am going through university right now and just got a job at a dental hospital too. I am really scared and hope things get better eventually! Wade was batting well above his average with Mila. She is far to good for scum like him and he knew it. That's why he begged her so desperately not to leave him, he knew he couldn't get anyone anywhere near as good as Mila. Lets remember in his confession interview with detectives when he was trying to get them to take him to mcdonalds and to revisit the scene where he killed Diane Ruiz, they asked him why he didnt kill Mila and without hesitation he said too many witnesses and then he tried to change it.

When the cop didn't follow or even put out a bolo on the vehicle when Wade took off from Joe's Crab Shack but, he said , "Awe, it was 'just' a battery", it took the wind out of me. That is how it goes across the country. Why is it that it takes dead women, dead wives , dead girlfriends for a battery call to be heard? I even know of the abused woman being taken to jail because the 6'3 abuser had defensive scratches from the victim. That just shows don't tell and dont fight back.
After that one defendant flew across the table and attacked the judge..I’m disgusted that they put her life at risk again!

From the beginning when people said bad things about me, it passed me off! She intentionally called him, played the girlfriend, got the confession, picked out Kristine Melton's drivers license, and testified for the state while Wade glared at her. She helped put him where he belongs, on death row! She's not fake, or all the things Kristen called her! I admire her! I don't think people remember Mila enough, she was a victim too! She did what she had to , to put Wade behind bars. She saved lives!

And never EVER be scared of going to a shelter. I have been to a safe house and shelters to get away. You will be okay esp if its best for your kids. I get it 100. It's difficult...but no one needs to scare you from going to shelters if that is your only way out. You'll be okay...trust me
