You and low tuned djent guitars go hand in hand don't you? My guitar teacher actually uses your riff mixes to describe certain styles of metal and it's really useful for grasping certain styles!
@@checkthedist your take on modern metal is so generic but I actually don't mean it as offense, it's great for understanding the style of modern metal riffs especially for new beginning guitarists like me. Many bands have weird convoluted styles mixing industrial or clean vocals and doing this and that with the vocals and synths so it's hard to just make sense of what I'm hearing. Your music also provides as good stereotypical metal music to scare off BTS fans
I strongly recommend newtone guitar strings for this thing. You can get literally any gauge up to .120 with a standard guitar ball end, stainless or nickel, round or hex core (go with hex) and you can request they cut the strings extra long to make sure they reach the tuners. Not sponsored btw, just genuinely love them. Been using them on my bass VI for 5+ years.
Love the clarity of those single pups,- just bought my own HB 27" long scale neck baritone,- inspired by your take on the low tunings. Can´t wait to dig into its possibilities. Metal ´till I drop!
Totally brilliant as always! If I used the same strings on my Strat copy that you used, but tuned down only to maybe drop D#1, in theory it should work as it would be the same as if I put a capo on the 3rd fret of your instrument, resulting in the same scale length. Probably with some intonation issues on the lowest string. What strings did you use, please?
You are a Metal treasure dear Alex, always a pleasure to hear you shred heavy riffs
I can listen to your tracks all day, every day!
Heavy Fit For An Autopsy vibes! 🤌🏼❤️
That intro was crazy. This song goes hard with the skills and atmosphere. Crazy good.

NIce to know lol
i always think that i suck in the styles of modern music
(alL this "core" stuff almost the same for me)

🔪🔥 Atmosphere 💪

It's d'addario 24-84, btw i tried them on my fender strat with drop D1, and I got good results

the clarity on that double drop C is insane. whats the scale length? string gauge?
It's 30" scale, strings are 24-84
@@checkthedistStock strings? Do you find the pickups noisy or do you just live with it?
@@northtimo666 strings are d'addario, pickups super noisy but I do not really care
@@northtimo666noise gate solves it
what string gauges are you using on that beast for that tuning? 🤘
24-84 d'addario
Mind if i ask what makes it sound a little muddy? Just the clarity of the pickups?
I guess it's my playing lol
Muddy? Dude this is as clear as it gets with a tuning like this.
Wait, if you are in Drop C on an BARITONE that means you actually tuned UP, not down? And then dropped it an octave down on a pitch shifter?
Octave down drop C without pitch shift
Hey alex, can i do some vocals on your instrumentals?
i don't think if it's really needed
Single coils rule!
That sound is amazing. Did you mix the Mercurial and Nameless? Impulses the same on both amps?
Thanks for watching!
I used different amps but same IR for the L/R guitar tracks
Guitar, but make it sound like trains fucking.
