The confusion on Ace's face the whole time was sending me lol. Leave it to NCT to confuse you with the production haha. This song had me like "the heck?" for the first 15 seconds but I love this song and it's so unique. I love that they're not afraid to experiment with sounds and with their vocals and rapping.
YES BANG BANG! The Sticker concept seems to be baffling to so many people but finally someone got it ALL. They ABSOLUTELY are declaring that they are FUTURISTIC KPOP OUTLAW GUNSLINGERS! They do their own thing and take chances which put them at odds with everyone else in kpop (outlaws) but they can compete with anyone (gunslingers). The take on the Clint Eastwood style duel whistle (flute/recorder used here) and the saloon style piano reminiscent of old Westerns films through to the styling and the talk of the NCT hand sign being gun shaped! It's genius what they did with this comeback.
I loved the song from the jump but I don't begrudge anyone not liking it *initially*. I'd love to hear what Ace thinks after a few listens but again, you can't please everyone. NCT are never gonna play it safe and Sticker is in line with all the risktaking titles they put out. No one is doing it like them. Great reaction from you all though!
Well said, I agree with you. I like the old west kind of style that NCT had showcase throughout the entire video, they are definitely on another level.
I love this song off the bat, I also like how NCT weren't afraid to take risks. They could have easily put out Lemonade as the tittle track off of their album but they didn't which I respect them for.
Definitely a track that only NCT would have the nerve to make their title track! 💚
Honestly I had the same reaction as Ace, BUT after listening to it like 30 times the first day, at some point it clicked and my brain was able to let the whistle and tapping sound blend into the instrumental more and I really love it now. So... don't give up, it's a grower! 😄

I didn’t know what to think when I first heard Sticker, but after a few listens, I’m addicted to it… Lemonade would be a better title track BUT it’d be playing it safe and that’s not what NCT does. They always push the boundaries. Many groups can pull off lemonade, not so much with Sticker. And honestly, the vocals in this song was a straight FLEX. I don’t think anyone can cover this (dance: yes, song, no).
I totally agree with you. It's taken me a few listens to get into this song. LEMONADE would have been a better title track. I was really hoping it would be. I love NCT...all of them. I give Ace props for speaking his mind. We all have our opinions and shouldn't be afraid to voice them

I can't blame anyone who doesn't like the song. It might be unfriendly at first, but it really grew a lot on me - like other NCT 127 title tracks. It took me a while to appreciate Simon Says, Cherry Bomb, and especially, Chain, but now I find them really amazing.
I just hope people give it a chance to listen to it again and notice how good it is. The production has unique, mind-blowing sound mixes - breaking the boundaries of the music industry. They were not following the usual format of songs. Lel. And of course, anything new and innovative is mostly uncomfortable to the common people.
From a personal experience, It's like a book that you need to re-read in order to understand and appreciate the full concept.
Man I agree 50% with Ace, when I first heard Sticker I felt like I miss something too and the final was perfect, but at the same time, comparing with the other title tracks from NCT 127 like Punch and Kick it, I liked Sticker more...I mean...they always come with new things and you need to listen a couple times and that`s what I love about them
Mark’s rap is my fave part. Idk if it’s because it’s Mark or because the repeating flute sample changed to something different or both haha
My friend is a die-hard NCTzen, but she cannot stand this song. I feel like Bang though. My feelings hurt cuz I love this song. Just the instrumental makes me happy.
Yeah, we can't all love something on the first listen. In my case that's what happened with Punch. This one I just vibed with from the first 3 seconds. That traditional flute and the distorted futuristic sounds just sold it to me.

I think a lot of Latinos like myself can vibe because the flute plays quite a bit in Salsa. The beats come together for me. Their voices really are fire but the live makes it even better and brings it together. I love their experimental sounds it why they are my only ultimate bias. It's NEO and so NCT 127...Ace, I still love you. 😘
asians too! we love that sound it has a cultural aspect. and yes i said asians cause also middle asians have the flute/clarinette sound in the culture! its literally the tasteless white locals who love generic sound LMFAO
Even though I'm a lowkey sticker addict after a few listens, love the vocals on this track and that bridge is 🤌🏽, this title track is Hella jarring and a lot of Nctzen fans feels the same way to Ace so props to him for being honest
Ace I felt the same way at first and with a few listens it definitely grew on me! So I understand that completely!
I wasn't feeling the flute and strings on first listen bcs it sounded kinda off for me but the next listen definitely hooked me lol the chorus is freaking catchy
Ace, I am right there with you and do not like the beat. The vocals, the outfits, the choreography was great! The beat was annoying and it just does not flow.
I literally had the same comment about the song during my first listen, and I still don't vibe 100% with it but it definitely grew on me A LOT! the whole album is a freaking masterpiece though, and it somehow fits really well with it!

Yesss finally!! I was waiting for it!! I really really enjoyed!!! NCT are the most unique and experimental group in kpop! Sticker it's like: you like or you don't like it, but I think rather than don't like it, you have to listen to it a few more times and you will see it an addictive song. It's cowboys meets Vegas. But I think this is a perfect representation of how some fans feel. Some REALLY like it but some are like it lacks the hypeness 127 really had. But hey that's music. you either vibe with it or you don't. But if you listen to a song again and it still don't hit that's ok. It doesn't make you less of a fan.

Ace, I have to disagree with you on this one. You should really give it another listen. This song is very creative, the offbeat type of sound with the flute & their beautiful vocals....I agree with Bang Bang..they keep on trying new things!! And it freakin works!!!
By now i never even pay any heed to my first listen of an NCT127 song. I just let it knock me on the floor with the production values and visuals then i hit the replay and play i play it AGAIN till i DO get it cause i know i will. At some point and it may take 4 or 5 tries the multitude of pieces that make up every NCT masterpiece fall into place & I cant even remember why it was ever confusingand didnt make PERFECT sense to me.
In short that it because NCT127 demands us to educate our apprciation because they put SO much of them selves into perfecting their songs PAST a first listen. And that is WHY i CAN stream an NCT127 song a hundred times and never be bored by it therevwill always be more to discover.

This song was created specifically just for them. NCT127 could just made lemonade as their title track. But it will be bored for some reason. They take the risks. But they really like it though. Direct by Lee Young Jin? He’s the best!

I had to listen to Sticker a few times and then I was like…oh my god I love this song!! Driving from Dallas to San Antonio and back, I had this on repeat (and Lemonade) and I was sailing down the road! It is just so catchy and addicting…plus the MV is eye candy…can’t wait for my album to arrive!!
