@@marion2863i mean, there isnt any other formula besides chara rush type wave, which is forgotten, and gets boring quickly. Its hard to make a new formula.
The main problem is that the soulless roblox undertale games are the ones that make it to the top. There are games like Hate's Uprising 2 that barely have the delight of having any players (granted, there have been no updates in a WHILE). I feel like in the future there will be more roblox undertale games with soul put in to them, such as Sealed Souls (game looks absolutely amazing and have been in the works for a long time, go check it out). For now though, we are stuck with soul ops and battleground games on top, and as soon as Undertale Adventures gets another update, it will also be bringing in players, as it had a peak of around 3.8k players during the 2x pumpkins event.
Theres still some hope tho, we do have lad who makes good games, even tho it's quite farmy j don't think he's bad.... Plus there are more characters other than sans aus, and he recently just released the new fight (infection type game)
I get your point about undertale timeline collapse, but you gotta respect, they put effort into bosses, and make p2w limited as the strong characters, like ink, error, error404 even, are locked behind a grind requirement. if anything, Undertale crazy multiverse timeline and undertale remnants of the multiverse are even worse as you can p2w for characters at ANY time. My brother and I both realized how horrible roblox undertale games are and it motivated my brother to make his own undertale game that I am helping create. It is very W.I.P. but we have a combat system and a plan for it. It will be a story based game that has pacifist, neutral, and genocide runs. You would also be able to start as a monster with a completely different progression system than LV. The game balance would be based around how strong you are when you complete the story. So everyone should be balanced around that time once they reach it. My brother is basically coding alone along with my help with the map and other things. So progress is super slow.
