I have a doubt in my church we brought new camera we are unable to get the clear audio. We are taking xlr output from audio mixer and xlr input to camera and taken output HDMI output from camera. In obs we select audio camera capture device audio. Its not giving nice auduo. What is the right way to get output
Buy one audio interface and give audio directly to PC. This will reduce the cable.
Usually the first problem for audio comes from improper earthing. If earthing is not correct in a building you cannot get clean audio however you try. If you are not able to correct building earthing try to give earthing locally to instruments.
Another issue is power leakage from instruments. One faulty instrument will collapse whole setup. Check individual instruments if anything has power leakage. Repair it or replace it.
Problem also come from cheap cables or faulty cables. Check the cables. Replace with high quality cables.
OBS don't corrupt audio. However your pc audio driver may be the issue check that too.
